I've just been through the laundry basket to put a load of washing on and found an unopened condom in the pocket of my boyfriends jeans.

We don't use condoms.

Aibu to think there could be a perfectly innocent reason for it being there??

I've never found a condom in my black jeans...

Was he genuinely concerned, or wanting his shower?

If he took his phone with him, it's game over.

I was in similar situations when I was younger. Alarm bells should have been blaring but I chose to believe flimsy excuses and fake acts of innocence.

The fact it was in 'his pocket' says it all really, it's not as though someone could have snuck it in without him noticing is it?

If my DH found something that cast a doubt about our relationship and I genuinely didn't know about it, I'd be upset and begging him to believe me, so even if by the slightest chance he's telling the truth I'd say he doesn't think enough of you to fight for the relationship.
