Found a condom in boyfriends jeans pocket

I've just been through the laundry basket to put a load of washing on and found an unopened condom in the pocket of my boyfriends jeans.

We don't use condoms.

Aibu to think there could be a perfectly innocent reason for it being there??

I personally don't see the issue with you snooping you wouldn't have done it had you not found a condom in his pocket!! I'd do exactly the same in your position! Why would he have them if you don't use them together?! Don't say anything until he comes in and then 'find' it in front of him and see what he says... I'd also ask the question if he has any more other than the one you 'find' to see if he lies to you about the ones in his draw

He doesn't take his phone in the water with him. His best mate owns the surf shop on the beach - he has keys so he can get changed/shower etc.

There may well be a legitimate reason for a condom being in his jeans. I wouldn't just assume the worst even if almost every poster on here is absolutely sure he is being unfaithful.

As to criticising you for moving in together so quickly, I think that is out of order. Me and DH got married 5 months after meeting. We didn't live together first. We just knew we were right for each other and have been married close to 40 years.

Quite a few friends/relatives got married many years after meeting (the longest being 14 years) and they are all divorced now

I just want to send you hugs for what you are going through. No matter what the answer make sure you look after number 1. You sound an intelligent woman so don't let him ( or anyone) pull the wool over your eyes....none of this " if you don't believe me ask ....." it's bollocks and you deserve honest

Actually some people never wash their jeans. It's not recommended. You're supposed to put them in the freezer apparently.

I don't know about 'posh wanks' but my friend once caught a bf wanking over her while she was asleep - he used a condom to hide the evidence. Fucking grim like.

It's probably best face to face. Show him it, then wait for his explanation. Then ask, if you can look at his phone with his permission.

If he's got nothing to hide, and anxious to prove to you that he's not cheating, he should be happy to hand it over there and then. It's no good him giving it to you an hour later when he's got all the apps deleted it needs to be there and then or no deal.

I would assume it was left there from before. You say he doesn't wear jeans to work, so it could be from before you met.

And blimey, I was pregnant with our first baby together at 6 months!
