What the hell is that?

It's obvious innit? It's a Blobfish.

They're very useful for dieters to keep in a tank in the kitchen...

PinkTiger · 15/11/2017 19:13

Someone should report dotdot's post for offensively interfering with the cuteness.

My eyes.

Brasty I have emptied my coin bowl from my desk, and there is $21.98 USD. It is rather heavy, so after shipping it may cover a carrot or two. Do they eat carrots?

I love the family in the SF Zoo. Fascinating creatures. Beautiful. When they run they pick up some speed though, so make sure you practice matador-like jumping out of the way before you actually bring them to live with you.

Soup - FRANCE? Wild in France? Well I never. I don't actually know where I imagined they ran wild, but certainly never in France.

SMYH.

Am hoping against hope that April the Giraffe is not actually pregnant again; truly cannot afford another 6 weeks of compulsive rear-end watching only to miss the actual birth in the end

CheeseGirl4 · 15/11/2017 19:17

I bloody love Capybaras. I've seen them (plus babies!) in the wild and practically cried I was that excited.

Purplealienpuke · 15/11/2017 19:20

Tapirs, capybaras & pigs please 🖒😊
Edinburgh zoo breed tapirs, the babies are seriously cute ❤

Ooooh oooooooh! I've just found a bottle cap down the side of the sofa - I'm sure it's very valuable. I shall send it forthwith.

Testarossa1 · 15/11/2017 19:32

The Yorkshire Wildlife Park has capybara, they always look very chilled out!

LakieLady · 15/11/2017 19:36

If you're having some of the pretty sheep, how about getting some of these, too?

modernfarmer.com/2014/03/meet-mangalitsa-hairy-pig-thats-kobe-beef-pork/

I'll donate all my Boots Advantage points.

user1485778793 · 15/11/2017 19:39

What about a few red pandas, they're much cuter than capybaras Grin (runs and hides)

ShovellerDuck · 15/11/2017 19:42

Dd has annoyed me this evening so I’m going to send back her new wellies and donate the money towards a pangolin.
That’s nearly £14 so must impose conditions. NO animals with pouches. Okay?

LakieLady · 15/11/2017 19:50

*This is an official emergency. I need to know how it is I have lived my entire life and never heard of or seen this cuteness that is Valais blacknose sheep.

How? Why? Where do I get one? Where do they hang out? How did you know about them? Can I have them all?*

They have a pair at Drusilla's zoo near Eastbourne.

They also have capybaras. And a giant anteater with its strangely phallic nose.

For a giant anteater, I could even be persuaded to part with a £10 Waterstones gift card ...

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 19:52

I wonder what the Professional Masterchef contestants would do with the delicious Blobfish? Omelette, perhaps? Grin

charliesweb · 15/11/2017 20:04

Capybaras are my most favouritist of all animals. I have even had the chance to feed them at a zoo. I can donate an assortment of coinage from around the world which is collecting in a drawer in my kitchen.

soupforbrains · 15/11/2017 20:50

I have been thinking about this all day.

I have decided that this cause is now my reason for being. As such I am resigning my job and becoming a full time charity mugger in aid of the Capybaras and Friends.

Brasty if we can come up with a cute name for your farm then I reckon I should be able to send you about £53.70 by the end of next week.

PinkTiger · 15/11/2017 20:55

I say we bin the others and go all in for the Valais Black Nose Sheep.

They win the thread, the internet, the world.

Feilin · 15/11/2017 21:07

Beautiful ill donate if you open a second one in northern ireland

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 21:35

I've just seen those fluffy piggies!

They have to be part of the Capybara Farm. They're lovely

AlwaysTimeForWine · 15/11/2017 22:09

I could loan you a few Moose, the odd bear and a few wolves?

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 16/11/2017 01:30

Or this. It’s name is Bob. It’s “currently” living on a diet of charging cables. How it’s still living I have no idea.
