I will chip in for your Capybara project, if you will help me convert my house into a wombat home.

Wow! Wombats.

Sorry giraffes are a step too far.

Cheque's in the post. Grin They're gorgeous.

I'd love to have seen the Henley capybara.

BarbaraofSevillle · 14/11/2017 11:58

Can we have otters please? I can contribute £12.50 in Tesco clubcard points. I wonder if they will do a double up exchange for otter food?

UrsulaPandress · 14/11/2017 11:59

The Queen ate capybara on a visit somewhere once.

Jux · 14/11/2017 11:59

I’ll send you a pound. I wants sloths there too, mind. You’ll have to have trees.

brasty · 14/11/2017 11:59

Queen is on my shit list now.

Otters are gorgeous, but already live in the wild in Britain.

Are these not giant rats? Why do I think they are cute? I'm so confused.

brasty · 14/11/2017 12:01

No, species wise closer to giant guinea pigs or gerbils.

OP posts:
Jux · 14/11/2017 12:02

Oh, and you might need a pack of quokkas, too. They’re literally the best.

brasty · 14/11/2017 12:05

Jux I had never heard of quokkas. Just googled them. I am evicting the capybaras for quokkas.

UrsulaPandress · 14/11/2017 12:06

You are proving to be very fickle.

I worry for your animules

brasty · 14/11/2017 12:06

Except quokkas are nocturnal. Change my mind, capybaras and sloths are back. Maybe a few goats in pyjamas as well.

OP posts:
Soubriquet · 14/11/2017 12:07

I'd help on the sloth farm

Can we get some baby kiwi too..:and I mean the bird not the fruit 😁😁

brasty · 14/11/2017 12:08

No baby kiwis are so thick, they like toddlers trying to kill themselves as soon as you take your eyes off them. I totally understand why they are so rare.

So cute 😍 I will obviously hand all future earnings OP 👍

ButchyRestingFace · 14/11/2017 12:08

Except quokkas are nocturnal

They weren’t when I visited Rottnest a few years ago. 😍

brasty · 14/11/2017 12:09

Google says they are nocturnal?

Thanks AdoraBell

We have wild otters near us, I could catch one for you it wouldn't mind

MyKingdomForBrie · 14/11/2017 12:12

There were capybara living on the shoreline where we visited in Brazil and they would swim across the bay and sunbathe on the rocks and in the evening hang out on the beach Smile I luffs them. I will send you a whole fiver if I get to name one!!!

ButchyRestingFace · 14/11/2017 12:14

Google says they are nocturnal?

The ones that were sitting on my lap in a restaurant and putting me at risk of a $500 fine certainly weren’t. Blush

Don’t google quokka soccer if you are faint of heart.

Tootyfilou · 14/11/2017 12:16

Not only are they utterly delightful, but capybara is one of my favourite words. makes me happy just saying it!

BarbaraofSevillle · 14/11/2017 12:17

Another wildlife park thing near us has solved the 'nocturnal animals being asleep during opening hours' issue by sectioning off their area of the facility and making it dark at that time and then leaving the lights on all night so they go to sleep then. You stumble through their bit lit only by some dim red lights and see them going about their daily night time business before emerging blinking into daylight again.

They also have meerkats. Your wildlife utopia must have meerkats too OP? I can give you the nectar points I was going to use in their double up event to get posh wine on the cheap.

brasty · 14/11/2017 12:17

Where can you get quokka to sit on your lap?

Rottnest. They’re not a bit shy.
