At the end of Grease? To me it’s just a horrible cheesy ending to one of my favourite films. And yes, watching it as a grown up i can see its messages are sexist and wrong and Danny is a complete turd, but I loved it as a child and can’t put it aside.

But the car, no...crap even as a child.

Agree it is just daft. But not sure what they could have done otherwise. Maybe a shot of Danny standing outside the toilets while Sandy took 3 years to pull her lycra trousers back up?

There's a fan theory online that Sandy is dead in Grease, but I can't remember the finer points.

I thought she drowned at the beginning and the movie was a dream sequence while she was in a coma.

Why else would he fly her into the sky whilst she waved goodbye after singing a song about always being together 30 seconds before?

That's just a fan theory though. Not actual. A fan can put forward any theory and say it as fact that's what it meant.

I watched the story of Grease the other night the producer just wanted an over the top camp ending- I like it- I loved it when Queer as Folk paid homage to it too.

It must have been a coma induced fantasy because both Danny and Sandy and in fact the whole cast were about 10 years too old to be at high school ... and who doesn’t look younger, fitter and more beautiful in their dreams?

Did anyone watch the program about the cast of Grease with Shane Ritchie (aka Shaven Quiche)? Program was interesting but my god was he annoying.

Phoebe was she was some kind of homeless addict busking across the road and she sat dreaming about being friends with the rest of them?

Isn't the Phoebe theory that she's a drug addict, homeless person sleeping rough in Central Park and she spots the 'Friends' in the window of Central Perk and makes up a whole fantasy in her head to escape for her horrible life? So the whole Friends series is Phoebe's little fantasy world?

I wish wish wish they'd film the alternative ending to friends.

Doesn't even need to be the same cast. Or set. But it needs to be done.
