AIBU to think most people don't get dried in the shower cubicle?

Bone of contention between DH and I. He gets himself dried inside the shower cubicle while DC and I step onto the bath mat and get dried there.

Problem is we've had a leak through the kitchen ceiling and DH has pulled up the Lino and found rotten hardboard. Sad

Leaking shower tray? Dripping bodies??

I think people are sensitive to cold in different ways, I find it extremely unpleasant, it makes me feel quite distressed/occupies my brain so totally that I can't concentrate on anything else. DH will happily wander into the bedroom with drops of water still on his skin whereas I can't stand that and need to wipe them off immediately.

For whoever said heating, it wouldn't work really as I need it to be about 30+ degrees to be comfortable stepping out of the shower (I know this because we now live somewhere with hot summers so it did get that hot in our last house!) and this isn't anywhere near comfortable in any other situation, so it wouldn't make any sense to run the heating to that level, not to mention the cost!

Some people seem terrified of being cold for a few moments!

Yup, I'm a wuss on this one. I used to be an "always hot" person, though, which on the whole was much more nuisance. It was great when I could jump in the pool from dry or swim for ages in the North Sea, admittedly.

Hunger, though, I'm fine with hunger. I can go all day on just cups of tea, including walks & cycling. I only resort to eating because I feel confused & tired. So I don't understand people who are so scared of feeling hungry. But you read it a lot, many people who can't stick a diet b/c of that fear. Or who have OCD... many types of anxiety... Everyone has some issue, I guess.
