Where will the charges against Manafort lead? Whose shredders are overheating today? And most importantly, when will the Tweetstorm-from-the-loo start?

In any case, I’m surprised that 45 should be in the least concerned - or his lawyers anyway - about ‘old real estate deals’. Shurely they’re all above board. Grin

John Sipher is an exellent name.

You would think those old real estate deals would be the least of his concerns except that if you are used to getting away with stuff over the decades, it can make you complacent. Grin

I was out and about in our town today with DS and we came across this...thought you all might appreciate it - DS loved it :)

A wonderful name. Smile

I read the ‘First Look’ but that piece is really worth an in-depth study. It makes you wonder what information the FBI - and now Mr M - actually have. Wink

‘altering operations’ indeed. Smile

Excellent, even. Smile

I like the detail.

I was just thinking about how you don't see guys very often anymore.

Evening all...I may have missed it but have we had this wonder yet? Apparently we don't have enough pollution...

Robert Phalen of the University of California, Irvine is a new science board member. He has argued that current air quality in the United States is too clean for "optimum health."

Talking of the Trump administration and science, this article in this week's Science is interesting:

www.sciencemag.org/news/2017/10/trump-s-epa-has-blocked-agency-grantees-serving-science-advisory-panels-here-what-it?utm_campaign=news_daily_2017-11-01&et_rid=34807446&et_cid=1637081

Basically, the EPA has banned scientists in receipt of its own grants (which is a competitive process and peer-reviewed) from sitting on its advisory boards due to "conflict of interests". However, apparently industry representatives (including a guy who runs a waste incinerator company on the clean air committee) don't ring any alarm bells vis-a-vis conflict of interests.

Chump change

The IRS says Robert Mercer, the big Trump donor, owes $7,000,000,000 in back taxes.

Ay caramba! That’s a whole lot of moolah. Could Mercer just pay for his pal Donnie’s wall to cover his dues?

I have no words.

WOW. WI Rep. Scott Allen thinks women should be forced to procreate for the sake of the labor market.
Women are PEOPLE, not incubators. 😡

Mercer’s position and recent actions are starting to look real odd.
