So aibu to ask what's ruined your day?

For me....

I had a sickness bug the other night, slept all day yesterday and woke up yesterday evening dreaming of a cooked breakfast.

Decided to get a Morrison's breakfast this morning..... specifically asked for no mushrooms and no toast....

It gets brought to me with mushrooms :-( I bloody hate them. Stupid slimy cooked slugs....and the smell...ugh!

And to compound how much that has ruined my day...I look up (after missing my mouth) mid breakfast to see the guy I have a meeting with at 1pm (and is so gorgeous it should be illegal) is sat opposite me and has just seen me land bacon down my dress :-(

Today sucks. And it's raining.

Drove bloody miles to buy a stair gate because my suddenly, very mobile baby is completely determined to get right into the cat food. Got home and all the parts were missing except the actual gate. DP is away this weekend and now I'll be on cat food watch all weekend,

Crocheted a little white ghost and his arms were a bit squint. Makes him look a bit odd.

DS managed to pick up and attempt to eat rabbit poo, then got very cross when I took it out of his mouth.

I’m ill and Roomba decided to set off hoovering my bedroom at 4am. It’s normally my favourite member of the household most days - NOT today, however

Snapped the hood on the pram putting it up this morning. Can’t find a spare online anywhere. Had to gaffa tape the bloody thing together and it sort of just hangs there now.

My mom turning up unannounced after lunch and waking the baby. It's all gone downhill from there.

Ptyalism. Fancy way of saying excessive saliva. So as well as having HG and vomiting the contents of my stomach each hour I know can barely have conversations as need to spit every three minutes. It's so disgusting and no one has any idea how to stop it.

I'm rewatching Game of Thrones. Ned just lost his head.

I ordered a halloween dress from a lady who sews outfits.
I ordered it 3 weeks ago and told her I needed it for Saturday for my daughter.
I emailed her yesterday as not heard anything to be told "yeah. Sorry. Fabric only arrived yesterday".
Maybe so but she should have told me before now.
Now I have to tell my daughter and try and find something else.

Work. I'm dealing with several people who are informing me that if they do not get their own way in everything, it will damage their mental health, and how can I be so abusive towards the mentally unwell?

Seeing the height of the Eden Project zip wire that I am going to have to go down tomorrow. We couldn’t do it today as the wind was in the wrong direction when we showed up for our booking. Unfortunately that meant I got a good look at it today....I’m bloody petrified. I had no idea it was that high. The DD’s are very excited. I am not.

Lighthearted but still upsetting - waited in a long queue at the bakery for a large egg custard (definitely not for sharing) for when the DC are in bed with a new book and cuppa - I had left my purse at home and had no money 😞

I am seeing a dear friend later who is a Bad Influence and will encourage me to drink wine with her (which I rather enjoy doing), which is not exactly in line with principles of the diet I am following (which allows very little by way of wine).

It is a terrible dilemma, but I can already tell you which way it's going to go.

I usually have Fridays off and was looking forward to it because I'm 29 weeks pregnant and completely knackered then it dawned on me... its my theory test tomorrow I'd forgotten and now i'm shitting myself.

I have tonsillitis. I have not been feeling well. Today I've had to look after my 2yr old as normal and walk to school to collect my 6yr old. The thing that ruined today was DH moving my house keys last night and not telling me.
I phoned him to ask if he knew where they were. He swore blind he did not. I searched my handbags and coat pockets. I phoned again, he swore blind he hadn't moved them. Then he sent a text suggesting they might be in the trousers he wore yesterday. They were there. I phoned him and not only did he not apologise but he shouted at me that I should know where my keys are.
Fucker.
I was late for the appointment to give the toddler his flu jab and knackered by the time I got to school.

Cystitis

I just realised I forgot to put my wheelie bin out today, so now have a full bin for 2 weeks.

My dd’s just spilt a whole foot spa of obeez all over the Lounge floor

for all with lurgies or horrid cystitis.

Am horrendously overdrawn but trying not to think about it as it's almost pay day!

Dh imo wasted a day off getting an eBay item that imo we didn't need and therefore not being available to look after the dc while I wfh.

Missing having a friend to chat to or go for a cup of coffee with. No family or close friends nearby will be just me and the DC at Christmas. Some days it gets to me more.

I was very excited to be chosen for the free Gousto box testing. My box arrived today and I have checked my bank and they have taken the full price out of my bank even though it applied the code and said I had £0 to pay

I really can't afford to lose that

Kids broke up for half term yesterday- ds2 was sick on the way home and carried on all evening, through the night, all today....

So I'm knackered and full of a cold and DS1 is bored and grumpy because we've not done anything interesting and I'm not in the mood to try and entertain

Bedtime for them soon, then a vodka and orange (it's for the medicinal vitamin c honest...)

Have had gastric flu for three days. Can't eat anything, too afraid to try, not really hungry yet but I've come back to work today because deadlines.

To my job in the food industry.
Literally in a chocolate factory.
Seated next to the test kitchen.
Where the executive chefs are preparing a load of delicious food for a project I set up before I went out ill.
Which I am sure will upset my stomach again.

Day RUINED.
