What's ruined your day?

*light hearted**

So aibu to ask what's ruined your day?

For me....

I had a sickness bug the other night, slept all day yesterday and woke up yesterday evening dreaming of a cooked breakfast.

Decided to get a Morrison's breakfast this morning..... specifically asked for no mushrooms and no toast....

It gets brought to me with mushrooms :-( I bloody hate them. Stupid slimy cooked slugs....and the smell...ugh!

And to compound how much that has ruined my day...I look up (after missing my mouth) mid breakfast to see the guy I have a meeting with at 1pm (and is so gorgeous it should be illegal) is sat opposite me and has just seen me land bacon down my dress :-(

Today sucks. And it's raining.

Opening the loft door to discover a billion flies. I'm now completely convinced that the previous owners have stashed a body somewhere.

I have to call a meeting with ALL the lads on our construction site because they've been pissing in bottles, in the corner of rooms and in non plumbed toilets.

Working from home but needed to dash to post office quickly, before a vaguely scheduled call from my boss. Drove to town car park. Crawled around trying to find a space. Reverse parked as impatient drivers chivvied me. Sorted through change and got a ticket. Got back to car.

I'd left the parcel at home. Got back in car. Drove back home. Collected parcel. Drove back to car park. Got to post office

My boss rang. I missed the call.

And my back really, really hurts.

SavageBeauty73 · 26/10/2017 15:08

The fear.

Got very drunk last night. Messaged a mate of my brothers asking him out for a date. I have never ever fancied him so no idea why I sent it (I am single). What's worse he's read it and not replied.

I am 44 not 15.

bigchris · 26/10/2017 15:11

Oh savagebeauty do not worry !

It's his loss !

And we've all been there !

OuchBollocks · 26/10/2017 15:14

I am exhausted, I feel weird and spaced out, I can find neither my glasses nor my very expensive watch, and my 3 year old is going through a super contrary phase.

WeatherDependent · 26/10/2017 15:14

Bloody weather, I don’t do cold and wet. It’s not even properly winter yet Sad

punicorn · 26/10/2017 15:17

Cleaned house from top to bottom (kids and dog out for the day). Kitchen and utility room floor gleaming. Emptied washing machine and some bugger DH had left a tissue in trouser pocket so little bits of white tissue all over the sparkling floor as well as all over entire dark wash. Would I be unreasonable to bin him particularly as tissue was in his golf trousers Wink

I have the grand total of 59p left in my bank account until payday (next Tues)... That is horrifying Blush I have moved a lot into savings this month, my car has a full tank, all bills are paid etc but honestly I feel wibbly about it still!

moonlight1705 · 26/10/2017 15:23

My colleague who thinks that freedom of speech is everything and why can't middle aged white guys use the word n**r because rap artists use it a lot in their songs.

DH gave me a cold so am struggling to argue with said colleague

HazelBite · 26/10/2017 15:28

My son;s girlfriend telling me how she is sufferering from depression, how she has tried to commit suicide, and crying because DS doesn't understand.....I don't fully understand either, and feel absolutely helpless.

Notreallyarsed · 26/10/2017 15:28

Due to go out for dinner for our anniversary tonight and I’ve had a full blown IBS attack to the point where I could actually cry with the pain. But babysitter (BIL) is organised and I don’t want to fuck him about. Hoping against hope that the meds kick in before DP gets home from work. That and the kids are all at full throttle despite me being in agony Sad

OuchBollocks · 26/10/2017 15:34

You can't argue with idiots moonlight

DoubleRamsey · 26/10/2017 15:47

On maternity leave and thought I'd make an effort and leave the house today, had a very disappointing jacket potato in a cafe, couldn't read my book as dd was fussing, went to a baby group and no one spoke to me and an older child dropped a rattle on dd's head (she is 3 months)

So bought a box of rice crispie cakes from Sainsbury's and am eating the whole box while I watch say yes to the dress and rock dd to sleep. Diet can start tomorrow Grin

Can't wait for dh to get home so he can make dinner and we can binge watch Netflix!

tamepanda · 26/10/2017 15:47

I’m now 10 days overdue with DC2.

And EVERYONE keeps joking about being still pregnant ...

DD1 (21 months) drew on the window with crayons ... the cheap nasty one I asked DP to throw out two weeks ago not the expensive washable crayola ones...

PineappleSnapple · 26/10/2017 15:50

I have an interview tomorrow morning for the job role I’m currently doing (non permanent is now going to be permanent) someone text me to tell me there are 7 internal applicants that have applied! I didn’t need to know this info!! I’m even more nervous now if that’s even possible!

MidLifeCrisis2017 · 26/10/2017 15:56

Piles
Quote for essential maintenance on my house coming in at £2750 instead of the expected £500.

Stiddleficks · 26/10/2017 15:58
