To wonder what the hell? A Domino's pizza is £20??

Dd is having a party and has asked for Domino's. I haven't had a Domino's pizza for about 25 years. Just went on the website and one large pizza is £20!

So 7 pizzas would cost £140.

What the actual hell??

Where might there be a discount code

Are they girls or boys.

I know plenty of teenage boys who could eat a 12 inch to themselves Grin

Can you make your own dough? I think Home made are as nice as Dominoes.

ClashCityRocker · 23/10/2017 20:47

Tbh I reckon four will be fine - if you fancy it bung some chips or garlic bread in the oven.

I think there's ten slices on a large - and they're big slices. I don't think a third of a large pizza would be a particularly small portion.

Scabbersley · 23/10/2017 20:48

I already have 24 Krispy Kremes for pudding.

Thanks for all your help. I am old and clueless

Is it just me who could quite easily eat a large domino’s to myself?! I mean, I’d be stuffed but I could definitely manage it 😂

reallybadidea · 23/10/2017 20:51

We get the Tesco version of Domino's now. Ok, the choice isn't as good but they taste pretty similar and only cost £5 each.

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 23/10/2017 20:53

24 Krispy Kremes! Can I come and play Grin I’ll buy my own pizza Wink

I say in that case get only 4 or 5 pizzas, they are enormous. So would only cost you £40-£50

And just google ‘dominoes pizza voucher code’. Or call your local one and ask for one. Mine are always helpful figuring out the best deal

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 23/10/2017 20:53

Go on to their website, click on the deals banner and choose any size for £9.99

You're making me hungry for pizza!

NonnoMum · 23/10/2017 20:53

Teresa May pays full price at Dominoes...

koalab · 23/10/2017 20:54

Forgive you are not alone Grin

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 23/10/2017 20:54

Put pizza and donuts out at the same time. You may end up with some pizza left for your DH that way.

SlothMama · 23/10/2017 20:55

Does the Sainsburys have a pizza counter? You could call ahead and they'll cook them for you.

Scabbersley · 23/10/2017 20:55

CherryChasingDotMuncher if you bring your own pizza you are in! There's 12 original glazed and 12 halloween ones

You don't need a code for tomorrow it's 2 for Tuesday's. Or just Goog for codes if you want a different deal.

pisacake · 23/10/2017 20:56

normally it's £7.99 for collection.

JustDanceAddict · 23/10/2017 20:57

Hideously expensive, but never order without a code!

RJnomore1 · 23/10/2017 20:59

The sainsburys ones are ok but they do not compare to dominos.

BarbaraofSevillle · 23/10/2017 21:00

Modern day version of having more money than sense - paying full price for Domino's pizza or anything similar where there's always a voucher code.

Even at a discount it's still expensive - I don't get it myself as it's shit pizza anyway.

Theresnonamesleft · 23/10/2017 21:00

Buy the pizzas, bulk them out with garlic bread, some with cheese - wedges - and bbq wings - you can buy big bags of frozen wings for not a lot.
AS someone gets the pizzas, someone else sorts out the above.

iamyourequal · 23/10/2017 21:01

Lol....3 pages of posting before its realised session that tomorrow IS two-for-Tuesdays! That should solve the problem OP.

AdalindSchade · 23/10/2017 21:02

If you buy a couple of bags of oven chips and garlic breads and cook them first then 1/3 pizza each should be ok? So 4 pizzas

peterpan742 · 23/10/2017 21:06

OP I don't like pizza, but if you've brought a mint chocolate Halloween doughnut, then i'm coming! Grin

Viserion · 23/10/2017 21:06

We're obviously greedy! Bought three large ones for me and two kids on Friday night. Ok, so there was 1.5 left over, part of which DH ate when he got in at midnight. The rest fed the kids for lunch the next day.

For 12 x 16 year olds plus two adults, I would say you need 8 pizzas. Pretty sure that was what we did for DS last birthday party for a similar number of 11 year olds and there was nothing left over. Mind you they had just done two hours of football.
