To wonder what the hell? A Domino's pizza is £20??

Dd is having a party and has asked for Domino's. I haven't had a Domino's pizza for about 25 years. Just went on the website and one large pizza is £20!

So 7 pizzas would cost £140.

What the actual hell??

BabyLllama you’ve eaten Shite?????? Gross! Confused

You need to move to Australia.. Dominoes pizzas are ridiculously cheap- $5 for a large (2.50 GBP). I couldn't believe the price difference after paying 12.50GBP for so many years in the UK!!

They are all still awake Confused

Get a supermarket one, they taste better, no collection at the party time so ready when you want and the cost is less. £1-3 depending on which one you buy. I must admit i dont like pizza as it tastes awful compared to the ones in italy or sicily. Even the italian restaurants dont cook them right. Think its the oven.

brummiesue · 25/10/2017 07:23

My god why are people still going on about buying supermarket pizzas?? They are 16 yr old girls, they asked for dominoes - they don't want bloody asda specials!!

Scabbersley · 25/10/2017 07:24

I am glad I didn't buy the supermarket ones tbh. I would have had to cook 12 separate pizzas! Two at a time. Wouldn't have been the same. The total cost with crisps etc was about 110, so less than a tenner a head.

Supermarket pizzas are nothing like dominos. They're cardboardy although more toppings.

Have they been up all night 😮

They will collapse soon!

niccyb · 25/10/2017 07:58

They often do buy one get one free. I always do this or use the NHS discount for 50% off!

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 25/10/2017 11:46

Can “Just buy some supermarket pizzas” be the new ‘just cancel the cheque?’

Nessalina · 25/10/2017 11:49

Ha! Yeah... Have you thought about getting supermarket pizzas?

BarbaraofSevillle · 25/10/2017 11:52

No the OP needs to get Dominos and use a discount code Wink

It's very odd being the OP in this 'cancel the cheque' scenario.

Really quite frustrating!! Has taught me to read threads before posting PARTICULARLY THE BITS WHERE THE OP HAS SAID A MILLION TIMES THAT BOUGHT DOMINO'S AND IT WAS ALL GOOD

koalab · 25/10/2017 13:43

I'll pop round and help you clear the Krispy Kremes!!

Scabbersley · 25/10/2017 13:44

Desperate to eat them but I'm on bootcamp and have already eaten a croissant.Sad

Why do people keep saying this? Supermarket pizzas are alright but let’s not pretend they are on par or even better than a proper takeaway pizza.

BarbaraofSevillle · 25/10/2017 15:35

Lets not pretend that Dominos, especially the thick based ones, in any way resembles proper pizza.
