Obviously we wouldn’t act on it but just for fun!

The guy who gave me my epidural with DC1, would've married him as soon as it started to work tbh.

Migraleve · 23/10/2017 12:37

There is the guy I work with about 5/6 times a year. When we are on shift together I love and hate it at the same time. I am a sensible married woman and am never going to be cheating, but omg this guy makes me feel like I’m 15 all over again. I literally struggle to make sensible conversation with him

Sukistjames · 23/10/2017 12:40

Scamp Grinat sap him dry and Finnic

I'm always having crushes I think my mind sometimes thinks I'm still a teenager. My current one is another woman who I'm in a play with. She's not that pretty but she's a little aloof which I quite like.

I'm just weird.

TheWernethWife · 23/10/2017 13:03

Agree with Never Tom Hardy all the way, those lips!!!

SepiaTintedRose · 23/10/2017 13:07

It was only a one off, but random vet. He was handsome and his whole manner was attractive. He also had a slight accent and way of phrasing things that showed english was not his first language.

He said :
"You have a very attractive rabbit"

Yeh, he was talking about the actual rabbit. Who, to be fair, is probably the equivalent hearthob status as the vet, in the bunny world.

Grin

ZepellinBend · 23/10/2017 13:15

No-one. I'm single too which makes that worse.

Coconutspongexo · 23/10/2017 13:21

Zep I'm single too but I don't seem to fancy anyone even remotely attainableAngry

Annabelle4 · 23/10/2017 13:26

Can't think of anyone. Wish I did, crushes are nice.

I can't help but notice that most of the crushes here are for someone in a caring role, someone who looks after our DC's, or someone we confide in... teacher, GP, etc.
There must be something in that...

headinhands · 23/10/2017 13:36

I used to have the most debilitating crushes when I was in my 20’s. They stopped abruptly when I stopped having relationships with idiots. Just sayin’. Grin

headinhands · 23/10/2017 13:37

It occurs to me I had crushes on people for their personalities or skill. There was one guy who was so gentle and friendly whereas my dp at the time was quite mean.

crazycatlady5 · 23/10/2017 13:45

Reading how much people can’t actually talk to their crushes when they’re grown adults makes me feel better. I had an excruciating crush on an ex colleague (whilst happily married, still am) and would do anything to avoid seeing him. Taking the lift one floor, walking out of the fire exit etc. Anytime he’d walk near me I felt like throwing up and could feel my cheeks burning all while trying to act as natural as possible. Thoroughly embarrassing.

Thank god I don’t work there anymore.

MeganChips · 23/10/2017 13:55

An ex colleague. He's very confident and assertive (in a nice way). He's not good looking in a classic way but he's witty, funny and his love of life just shines out of him.

I Facebook stalk him often.

SuffolkNWhat · 23/10/2017 14:07

Someone at work. Not my conventional type at all but reminds me of my ex. The way they look at me with a little grin just makes me melt. Have had to try and avoid them as much as possible as I dread to think what I’d do given half the chance!

Auldspinster · 23/10/2017 14:15

I also feel better about being a blithering idiot when it comes to talking to said crushee.

One of my other colleagues knows i like him and was grinning at me as he was sitting next to me in a meeting this morning. I somehow managed to keep it together and not squeak in a high pitched voice.

MummaTwinkleToes · 23/10/2017 15:35

I fancied a work colleague, he was new, beautiful and lovely. I was hooked from the minute we spoke. Think he liked me too as he kept asking me out for a drink. Had some of the best shifts at work with him where we just laughed all night. He would brush my hand or touch my waist when he passed me. Told me I looked awesome one shift and kept catching him staring. Couldn't stop thinking of him. Nothing happened as was with my now DH. He was my one that got away, the one it would have been perfect with if met at another time.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 23/10/2017 15:38

Keir starmer OMG hes my dream bf in all ways

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 23/10/2017 15:43

Not very secretly at all - in fact quite publicly - Marti Pellow, Colin Firth, Ray Winstone, Gerard Butler.

Very secretly - my old boss.

Auldspinster · 24/10/2017 17:24

Gave my crush a (cough) sweet today. Also managed to mostly keep the head around him.

Midge1978 · 24/10/2017 22:45

God mummatwinkletoes I don’t know how you resisted him!

OP posts:
fadetoblack · 24/10/2017 23:46

AuntyElle
If he is bald with a beard we may need to arm wrestle for him! He is always so smiley and kind, and the accent doesn't hurt either! (My Pharmacist - so you don't have to scroll back to find out who I'm talking about!)

snackerextraordinaire · 25/10/2017 08:14

I also had the most massive crush on my GP. He was a locum and no longer at our practice. Such a shame, he was lovely.

MrsJasonIsbell · 25/10/2017 08:20

The guy who owns the garage where I buy my cars in. In fact, my power steering is making a funny noise... Wink

blackheartsgirl · 25/10/2017 12:58

Half the men in work Blush

I’ve hit 40 and I seem to find nearly every man in their 30s 40s and 50s attractive, i dunno why.

But my manager is stunning . Had a meeting with him yesterday which I turned a blithering idiot, not good. The man is also a twat unfortunately although he did get me a coffee out of pity Hmm
