Wow. Unbelievable! Shock

DJBaggySmalls · 19/10/2017 22:12

Well done OP.
I'd contact the PTA and say 'I dont appreciate being harassed in my place of work by someone trying to scam me'. I think they need to know what she's done.

Leeds2 · 19/10/2017 22:16

I would imagine that F2 and F3 might tell the Head of the PTA what F1 has actually been up to.

pictish · 19/10/2017 22:16

Don't contact the PTA to tell tales fgs - this is between you and your friend. Remain dignified and don't go stirring up more shit than there already is. What terrible advice.

BriechonCheese · 19/10/2017 22:17

Wow, catching up with all of this and utterly gob smacked at what a cheeky cow your friend is.

Let's hope she doesn't bring up her child to think this is suitable behaviour.

KittyLover91 · 19/10/2017 22:17

What an utter prick!

You are better off without her in your life.

Put her in the friend bin and take the trash out😌

3out · 19/10/2017 22:19

I think PTA have a pretty good measure of her now. Don’t stoop to her level.

Plus, someone is bound to have seen this thread, so there’s no need to be dragged into the whole mess any further. The PTA will know :)

ChasedByBees · 19/10/2017 22:20

I'm sorry that she acted like that OP. Don't feel you need to stay away from gatherings though, these are your friends too and you don't want to end up edged out of your friendship group.

Willow2017 · 19/10/2017 22:20

Couldnt get back to thread sooner am shocked but not surprised at Cf.

Kungfu
What an utter psycho hose beast.
How dare she blame you? She got off bloody lightly if only she had 2 brain cells to rub together to realise it.

Put it behind you and just remember what a cow she was after you saved her ass. Nobody needs a friend like her you would never be able to trust her again. Do not let her dish 'made up dirt' on you. Stand up for yourself and your reputation. You did nothing wrong and were far more gracious than she will ever be.

Flowers Wine for you and your friends. At least you know they are real friends when you need them. them.

Oldieandgoldie · 19/10/2017 22:20

I think I would say to PTA that you’ve had more contact with ‘F1’, but despite/inspite of this(!), at the moment, you’re willing to go ahead with your offer of an updo. However (due to this unfortunate incident), you would prefer to have no further contact with PTA.

Hopefully it will make them rethink their procedures - if they had checked offers before printing, this would/should never have happened. They are ‘almost’ as much to blame as F1.

Invertedsnob · 19/10/2017 22:20

My two pennies worth - f*ck F1. I have a CF F1 all of my own and am just killing her with civility.

HoneyIshrunkthebiscuit · 19/10/2017 22:23

Flowers she's not worth the upset

ADishBestEatenCold · 19/10/2017 22:24

"So eager to impress her new PTA friends, she shat all over her old ones."

^ This. In a nutshell.

pictish · 19/10/2017 22:30

I know it's a bit late to say it now but I wouldn't have contacted the PTA or the HT at all without having seen or phoned my friend to talk about it in the first instance. I would have advised her that she could change the prize to an updo or a dry cut and told her not to volunteer my services without checking with me again. Then she could have gone back and claimed a mix-up, changed the prize, saved face and no huge and horrible confrontation would have occurred at all.
As much as I think she was cheeky AF to contribute your services without asking you, I also think it would have been better to speak to her properly before writing emails to the PTA and the HT, making her look a fool. Even if she was one, she was your friend.

Gemini69 · 19/10/2017 22:31

I loathe that she has made this into your Monster OP.. bloody shocking

midnightmisssuki · 19/10/2017 22:35

pictish

did you read the full thread? She gave her so called friend a chance to correct the situation. The other friends even said they would contribute some money toward it so this great friend of hers (who has form for doing things like this btw)would only have to pay 15 pounds. This great friend chose to ignore messages, choosing to only speak to other friends to see what KungFu was going to do.

How many messages would KungFu have to have sent to his friend before she was allowed to send a message to the HT/PTA lady?

midnightmisssuki · 19/10/2017 22:36

this was clearly no friend of hers. Just bloody awful behaviour.

KungFuPandaWorksOut16 · 19/10/2017 22:37

F1 put a facebook status

" Can't believe a friend I would have once trusted with my life, would stab me in the back like they have done today. Always been there for you, never done you wrong and always had your back. After today you're dead too me."

Cue loads of
"Awww hun whats wrong"
"Obviously jealous"
"Inbox me"

F2 just posted

" Take it this is about Kung. Always had her back? What like donating her services to a school raffle and expecting not to pay her for it?
Never done her wrong? I refer you to the point above. Or what about going into her salon tonight and kicking off at her?
Dont act the victim you arent.

pictish · 19/10/2017 22:38

Yep I did. I'm just saying how I would have dealt with it...ie, in person and not through texts or mutual friends. Face to face, leaving no room for misunderstanding or misinterpretation or Chinese whispers. What with her being a friend.

luckyDuvet · 19/10/2017 22:38

Oh god, how embarrassing to have them arguing all over Facebook about it. Cringing for you OP.

HundredMilesAnHour · 19/10/2017 22:38

Now F2 is a proper friend! Well done F2!

StealthPolarBear · 19/10/2017 22:38

Did she respond to me? It's all starting to sound a bit teenage tbh

StealthPolarBear · 19/10/2017 22:39

Pictish I think the op tried

StealthPolarBear · 19/10/2017 22:39

To me? I think I meant to them.

pictish · 19/10/2017 22:39

Sorry if that's not suiting to the thread...but yeah, I'd have dealt with it differently.
