I'd love a cut and colour for £45, if you're near Bedford or in London op, drop me a pm.

misses point

toolonglurking · 19/10/2017 20:17

Unbelievable behavior! You are so much better off without her, she sounds like a nightmare. Stay strong, you have handled everything with dignity, well done!

T00much · 19/10/2017 20:19

Wow she is somminelse. Hope the other two have a quiet word and make her realise how unreasonable she is

choccybiscuit · 19/10/2017 20:22

Shocking behaviour Shock

Cardilover · 19/10/2017 20:23

Oh no, I’m sorry she’s been so crap. You sound lovely. If only she’d been brave enough to fix this with an apology, a bottle of wine and a giggle about how daft she’s been. Hope your good friends have dragged you out for a drink and a rant.

LadyWire · 19/10/2017 20:26

We definitely need more info op! What exactly did she say??

Foxysoxy01 · 19/10/2017 20:29

No....way......Shock

How shameless must she be! I can't believe anybody could be that unaware and entitled.

Has she said anything since OP? What did F2 and F3 say ShockConfused

SingingSeuss · 19/10/2017 20:31

What part of it was your fault?

lurkingnotlurking · 19/10/2017 20:31

lurking

ohtheholidays · 19/10/2017 20:32

Bloody hell OP and after you backtracked and stood up for her to the PTA!

You need to stop allowing her shitty behaviour she has no one to blame but herself! The fact that your 2 nice and normally behaved friends offered to pay £30 of the prize she'd offered so you wouldn't be out of pocket and she'd only have to pay £15 and she still said No shows what an arsehole she is!

Let F2 and F3 know about her reaction and from now on I'd be keeping the CF at an arms length.

LagunaBubbles · 19/10/2017 20:32

Sadly predictable. I'm sorry. At least you know she's not a true proper friend.

rumbuba · 19/10/2017 20:32

No no NO!
Hope you are alright OP!
I’m so angry for you AngryFlowersWine

MrsTerryPratchett · 19/10/2017 20:33

Your post sounded upset. I hope you're not too upset. She should be but clearly isn't.

glitterbiscuits · 19/10/2017 20:37

I’ve never place-marked before!

Castieldeansam · 19/10/2017 20:37

She sure shot her self in the foot there. Come Christmas when she wants a free w&b & updo, please tell her you have got time to fit her in.
You handled it well @kung

Blackcatonthesofa · 19/10/2017 20:39

You deserve better friends.

kali110 · 19/10/2017 20:40

What??? Your fault??
What is she on Confused

Motoko · 19/10/2017 20:42

Well, that's just the icing on the cake. Sorry you've lost a friend OP, but she's not the friend you thought she was.

hiyasminitsme · 19/10/2017 20:45

We definitely need more info op! What exactly did she say??

this is someone's life, not a soap opera......

PovertyPain · 19/10/2017 20:45

So sorry your cf friend has put you in this position, OP, and she's taken no responsibility. 💐 I think in the long term you'll come to realise you've done the right thing. She would have just taken more and more liberties, at your expense, in order to impress her new 'friends'. It's good that you nipped it in the bud, rather than feeling resentful as she took the piss, more and more. It would have damaged your relationship in time, anyway. At least you can be proud of the fact you've stood up for yourself.

Ginpasta · 19/10/2017 20:46

Really shocked by F1's behaviour - if she truly valued your friendship she should of held her hands up & apologised. I'd distance myself from someone like that - life's too short to deal with shitty people! Xxx

TeaAndToast85 · 19/10/2017 20:46

Appalling woman. Tell the PTA woman to go ahead with the bollocking x

KeepItAsItIs · 19/10/2017 20:48

Sorry but that was obvious. You were far too nice pretending it had all been a misunderstanding in the first place. People like her don't suddenly hold their hands up and say "wow, shit, sorry that was my mistake." They twist is around to being your fault.

WellThisIsShit · 19/10/2017 20:50

I’m sorry Haloween Sad

I thought she’d be rude but slightly apologetic, enough for you to be able to be the bigger person and move on from it.

Sounds like she can’t bear to see herself as having done anything wrong, so is just trying to bulldoze through with her label of ‘victim’ stuck firmly to her chest.

I’m sorry.

Polkadot1974 · 19/10/2017 20:50

This is terrible!!! She should be begging you not to tell the PTA and offering to pay her it to keep quiet. She's left you in a tight pickle and that's not on as you also have a business and reputation to protect. Hope you're ok. I'd message her and explain she simply can't do this and you'll be speaking to the PTA unless she wants to? Cow bag. Poor you
