Silly reasons why you haven't used a baby name?

I love the name Venus but i didnt use it as it rhymes with penis and i thought that kids at school might pick on her for that.

Quite a few names were rejected by DH on the grounds of ' I know/ went to school/uni with someone called that. He's a twat.'

I adore the name Naoise. Its from a very old irish legend about young handsome warrior and the woman he loves but a lot of people have started to use it as a girls name. I love the name and the story and hate when i meet a girl called Naoise as they've ruined it for me.
