cozie I am a Californian and I think this is wonderful. I am so proud of my legislators. Immigrants (legal and undocumented) are a large part of our economy, especially in agriculture. It would be unbelievably hypocritical of us to cheerfully accept the sweat of their labours in our fields, homes, and businesses, but then deny them what protection we can offer.

Was Trump himself to be there, lion? If he wasn't scheduled, he'll likely persuade himself that it's him that makes the difference. (Or that it didn't happen.)

IDK, this is getting spooky. First an apparent 'give' on DACA, now (possibly) on the Paris Accord. Trump gives (faint) praise to some Dems in Congress. Some of his 'donations' have actually been made. What is he planning? Something big must be in the wind. Is he planning some sort of horrible action and is trying to lull us into a sense of complacency or could this all be 'buttering up' Dems in Congress because he fears an impeachment hearing after Mueller is done with his investigation and thinks he can get on their 'good side' by flattery?

It's just weird.
