It is just me or does it seem that the water in the Trump toilet is starting to swirl faster and faster towards the drain hole lately? There just seems to be so much more stuff popping up.

There are going to be a good many hurts, Across. Recognise that and don't be discouraged. Persist.

There certainly seem to be many leaks.

The way I see it is that initially Trump was setting the agenda, one outrageous statement at a time. Currently it feels like there is less focus on what he says and does and more on the maelstrom around him (Russia, legal challenges, GOP fury around him etc). He's not the story any more, the fallout of his botched presidency is. Interesting times.

Still no charity money from leftover Trump inaugural funds

President Donald Trump’s inaugural committee raised an unprecedented $107 million for a ceremony that officials promised would be “workmanlike,” and the committee pledged to give leftover funds to charity. Nearly eight months later, the group has helped pay for redecorating at the White House and the vice president’s residence in Washington.

But nothing has yet gone to charity.

My niece and nephew were on separate tubes on their way to school yesterday...one was on the train behind, at the station before (where both their journeys started)...the other was on the train in front...thank goodness neither was on that actual train, but they so easily could have been.

Oh, and my dd is in Japan... She'd sent a message to say she was fine and not in the path of missile...before I'd actually heard the news.
