Just down to choosing fabric softener, it's a joyous experience! Putting the smelly stuff in, getting the clean stuff out. It's just wonderful.

Yep I love picking a fabric softener. I spend ages sniffing them in the supermarket. Too many of them smell like vomit though. The laundry cleaner stuff leaves a nice smell too.

Bluntness100 · 02/09/2017 16:21

No. Hmm

RonSwansonsMoustache · 02/09/2017 16:22

I hate fabric softener - makes me itch!

CryingMessFFS · 02/09/2017 16:24

Nope! Can't be arsed with it. I do appreciate a nice smelling washing powder though (I am too lazy to remember to buy fabric softener 😂)

Bubblysqueak · 02/09/2017 16:24

I've never used fabric softener.

I hate fabric softener & never use it. I can't bear the scent of any of them & only buy washing powder that is lightly fragranced.

I quite like doing laundry though, and the smell of washing that's been dried on the line is just lovely.

gwenneh · 02/09/2017 16:27

I won't say I enjoy it, but it is incredibly satisfying when it's done!

Spaceblock · 02/09/2017 16:29

I like clean clothes but hate the doing the taking it in/out hanging it up, so it's become dh's job. Now hoovering and cleaning the carpets? Insanely satisfying Grin

Flicketyflack · 02/09/2017 16:29

I love washing, especially watching it all drying on the line! It's one of the few tasks I can finish uninterrupted.

Sad but true.........

Bluntness100 · 02/09/2017 16:31

Oh look, bluntness is here to spread more joy

Do I know you? Or do you just like to randomly attack strangers on line because they don't find doing laundry wonderful?

NachoAddict · 02/09/2017 16:31

I love it, I always sniff the wet clean washing for ages. I have those unstoppables too and tumble drier sheets.

I got a fabric conditiomer once that was too perfumed and I hated it but cant remember which one it was.

PoppyPopcorn · 02/09/2017 16:32

Pleasure?

I do admit that yes I like the smell of fresh washing that's been out on the line. But I don't get excited about washing powder or fabric softener and if I heard friends going into long debates about the benefits of Daz versus Bold, I'd think they needed a hobby. (Or a slap).

I really appreciate that washing machines are a thing and that I don't have to do it by hand like my Grandmother. And I love fabric softener.

BlackberryLassi · 02/09/2017 16:34

I love laundry now I have a garden. My washing machine is in a walk In cupboard and I love the smell as I open it. I love watching it dry on the line and taking it in smelling gorgeous. It's the only housework I enjoy tbh.

DameDoom · 02/09/2017 16:35

I love washing products. I use myriad products to keep my white towels and bedlinen sparking. I love a line full of whites drying in the sun.
Conversely, I hate getting stuff out of the basket, then in and out of the machine. I hate pegging and depegging washing, hate folding and putting away and don't get me started on ironing.

sooperdooper · 02/09/2017 16:35

Not in the slightest, and I've never bought fabric softener in my life!

BlackberryLassi · 02/09/2017 16:36

I like the yellow lenor. Best smell Smile

elevenclips · 02/09/2017 16:37

I am satisfied to have laundry completed.

However I cannot tolerate any smells on clothes and have the opposite problem to you op - I go to the supermarket and search for the unfragrqnced stuff.

The smelling stuff seems extremely popular though. I was at a shop and the cashier passed me an item and I got a waft of laundry scent from her clothing. I also have a friend whose entire family smell of her washing powder - they walk about with a cloud of the stuff permanently over them!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 02/09/2017 16:37

I hate washing. It's relentless and never ending! The putting away drives me bonkers too . I find no pleasure in it whatsoever.

Bluntness100 · 02/09/2017 16:39

no but I'm familiar with you. Attack? Try again

Familiar with me, wtf? I've no clue who the hell you are or why you're obsessed with me, so I'm not going to validate your weirdo ramblings with a response after this. .Hmm

NachoAddict · 02/09/2017 16:41

I love smelling other peoples soap powder. I am always jelous that I cant smell my own and am wondering what they use.
