This pisses me off!! Just because this isn't classed as a "real" cigarette AIBU to be pissed off when vaping around my babies. Or in any private places such as restaurants, pubs etc.

Ive been to two weddings where a couple where even vaping in CHURCH!!!
And then my niece was making her 1st holy communion and the lady in front was vaping...

I have seen no clinical evidence to suggest its safe.So in the mean time id wish the minority who do it would piss off.

Yes I did and I posted the results as well. Maybe read my actual comments instead of just being snidy?

Well, I don't see it as a big ask for people not to wear perfume in places like restaurants, cinemas and work. And especially not in places like the tube, buses or trains, Brasty.

Well I don't see it as a big ask for people not to vape in places like restaurants, cinemas and work.

I can see an argument for the cinema, definitely. Less so for restaurants and "work" (that's a bit of a broad term, isn't it?), but I would still be sympathetic to people in those environments who found it distracting or off-putting. That's not really what I have an issue with here.

My gripe is with people who act as though vaping = smoking; that the two should be treated the same and that the laws which were brought in to protect non-smokers from harmful cigarette smoke should not apply to non-smokers who vape because "it looks like smoking", therefore they should be limited to smoking areas despite NOT SMOKING. There are a lot of sensible discussions to be had around vaping but threads like this are so full of illogical, irrational, borderline mystical bullshit that they drive me insane.
