Always kind, laid back, funny. Just a sweet man I think. I like Kirstie too - with her massive rings and weird ideas about what constitutes a bargain Grin.

STBX can't stand them - especially Kirstie. Confused

STBX can't stand them - especially Kirstie.

Well I'm afraid I can't disagree, she's come out with some pretty knobbish things in the past. I like Phil though.

Bluntness100 · 27/08/2017 09:12

I quite like them both but I can't honestly say I spend a lot of time thinking about it Hmm

thefalloutwillbeawful · 27/08/2017 09:17

Well neither do I tbf - am watching them at the moment.

Probably because things are so difficult with my H, Phil just seems so nice. He might not be in his private life I suppose.

Yes - Kirstie is somewhat not on the same planet as the rest of us. I like her energy though.

I totally adore them both, and always have done.

I enjoy watching them separately too, but together they have such a wonderful presence and chemistry.

I adore all of the Kirstie Christmas programmes. I record them and watch them over and over - they are just so Christmassy, and have so many lovely ideas.

I know Kirstie has irritated many by saying certain things, but the only time I have been irritated by her was when she had a hissy fit over washing machines being present in kitchens.

EdmundCleverClogs · 27/08/2017 09:21

Phil does seem to be lovely, but I guess that's why he's on television though! I prefer Kevin McCloud myself though.

MaisyPops · 27/08/2017 09:23

I like Phil.

Kirstie is just so patronisingly out of touch. 'Oh look at this lovely DIY craft gift to dave money. I just went to a local antiques market and spent £150 on this lovely item that I'm going to cover in crackle glaze spray paint and sandpaper the edges so it looks distressed'

HelloSquirrels · 27/08/2017 09:26

I really like them both. I actually quite like that Kirsty seems to be somewhat on another planet. I like watching her make ridiculously complicated crafts!

Bluntness100 · 27/08/2017 09:27

I quite like that guy from big house little house. Aiden Keene? He so not good looking he's actually quite sexy, I find myself watching it thinking , would I or wouldn't I, yup probably would on balance. The more I watch it the more of a thing I'm getting for him, feels wrong though..l Hmm

EssentialHummus · 27/08/2017 09:32

I like them both, though I'm not a fan of Kirstie 's xmas tie-dye your knickers programme. One thing I've noticed though - Phil has gotten a lot less posh over the years. In early episodes he has a properly plummy accent, in more recent episodes it's toned down. Likewise his mannerisms. I wonder whether it was a conscious thing on the part of the show/Phil himself.

Only1scoop · 27/08/2017 09:34

My fave TV non couple

Auldspinster · 27/08/2017 09:37

I've always found Phil rather sexy.

ArseholesOnToast · 27/08/2017 09:45

I find Phil rather attractive, he's got a naughty twinkle in his eye.

I'm not too fussed on Location x3 but I liked Phil's Secret Agent show and the one where Kirstie went round different villages in her Range Rover entering cakes and crafts and whatnot into their fates.

CoughLaughFart · 27/08/2017 09:46

Phil is my niche crush Blush With Kristie I veer between indulgent fondness and wanting to hit her with a frying pan.

thefalloutwillbeawful · 27/08/2017 09:48

Do you think their respective partners ever find their obvious fondness for each other (and Kirstie's endless innuendos with regards to Phil's manhood) difficult to deal with?

OP posts:
pigeondujour · 27/08/2017 09:49

Kirstie Allsopp is a horrible, horrible person. Don't mind Phil.

Mellington · 27/08/2017 09:50

Oh no, I much prefer Kevin McCloud, his barely concealed contempt at some of the home owners ideas ("You need to accommodate your 60inch television?") is fantastic!

thefalloutwillbeawful · 27/08/2017 09:51

Yes I like Kevin McCloud's concealed contempt as well Grin.

OP posts:
thefalloutwillbeawful · 27/08/2017 09:52

In what way is Kirstie so horrible pigeon?

OP posts:
stumblymonkeyagain · 27/08/2017 09:52

If we're going to talk property crushes surely it has to be George Clarke?!

That accent

thefalloutwillbeawful · 27/08/2017 09:54

Yes I love George Clarke as well (and H hates him as well Hmm). Love his energy.

Still Phil is just sweet.

OP posts:
bananafanana1 · 27/08/2017 09:54

I'm a bit in love with Phil Blush

Brownsauceandsausages · 27/08/2017 09:56

I like them both. Phil comes across as a gent. And although Kirstie has said some controversial things; if you read beyond the immediate headlines, it's not quite as bad as it comes across initially.

Bluntness100 · 27/08/2017 09:56

Yes, you defo will with George Clarke. The only thing is I think he knows it...

I don't think Kirsty or Phil actually fancy each other, they are just mates. I don't find Phil attractive, too wet for me.

jay55 · 27/08/2017 09:56

Phil was the special guest at the opening of a block of flats I lived in once. He was a dick.
I imagine such crappy events are a pain in the arse to be fair to him.

Bluntness100 · 27/08/2017 09:57

Win not will!
