Love these threads. Loaded chilli cheese fries and zesty slaw. Courtesy of gousto. Highly recommend to get you back into cooking. Really good offer at the mo, first two boxes £20 each.

MaQueen · 18/08/2017 17:39

It's Friday which means Fish&Chips, bread&butter, and a big mug of tea to wash it all down with ❤❤❤

TwatteryFlowers · 18/08/2017 17:40

Mozzarella, peccorino and provolone flatbreads (from the fridge section in Tesco) topped with (Tesco's frozen) roast Mediterranean vegetables, melted cheese and BBQ sauce.

ZaraW you reminded me of the thread where a bus full of primary school kids broke down returning from a trip so the teachers took them to the nearest service station for McDonalds whilst waiting for a replacement bus - some of the parents had berated the teachers for feeding the kids on fast food, leading to someone commenting "how inconsiderate that the bus didn't break down next to a falafel and hummus stand".

Some of the best food I've ever had was in Lebanon.

Timmytoo · 18/08/2017 17:58

Pizzas in bed followed by sweets, chocolates and ice-cream for our midnight feast. My DP and I have Friday night pajama parties 🎉 - we are a bit lame Blush

Grumpbum · 18/08/2017 17:59

Sgtmajormummy · 18/08/2017 18:01

We're having a freezer dive!
Green beans straight from the packet and into the pressure cooker. 15 minutes all told. Served warm with garlic butter.
3 good pizzas + 1 farinata (chickpea pancake) for four of us.
Followed by fresh fruit.
Just in time for family video night. "Logan, Return of the Wolverine" or whatever it's called.

SallyOMalley · 18/08/2017 18:02

CryingMessFFS · 18/08/2017 18:06

Being lazy so the DC and I had sausages, chips and beans (and a fried egg for me!) Haven't had sausages in months and really fancied them

plominoagain · 18/08/2017 18:06

Kids are having chicken Korma and rice and naans .

DH and I are having grilled mushroom risotto .

Later when kids have gone to bed we will be having the Friday cheese buffet . Posh crackers , lots of different cheeses , homemade chutney ( well I've got to use it up , the apple trees are threatening to throw its contents onto the floor any minute ) and wine . Or Cider possibly , as I have a nice bottle enticing me on the dresser

Theimpossiblegirl · 18/08/2017 18:06
