Homemade version of Ikea's Swedish meatballs in cream sauce with spring cabbage, skinny fries and cranberry sauce (closest I can get to lingonberry sauce).

OhHolyFuck · 18/08/2017 16:30

Roast chicken, cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes
Comfort food here today!

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 18/08/2017 16:33

Salmon fillets and stuffed tomatoes.

Scribblegirl · 18/08/2017 16:33

Same youghurty - DP thinks takeaway pizza is a waste of money when you can buy it from the shops (heathen - he'd have a heart attack if I said that about curry) hence why I'm calling Dominos!

mamaduckbone · 18/08/2017 16:34

Dh's homemade pizzas - can't wait Smile

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 18/08/2017 16:36

Salmon teriyaki with pak Choi and noodles. I'm really hungry now after missing lunch but it's too close to dinner to cave!

BLUESEAPARADISE · 18/08/2017 16:37

Oh my all of these sound absolutely delicious!! Hope this is ok but I am going to use some of these ideas for upcoming meals!

Just made liver and bacon

loveka · 18/08/2017 16:39

Prawns with fennel and feta cheese pasta.

Fry fennel and onion, add chilli flakes and wine then fresh or tinned tomatoes. Cook down. Add prawns. Serve with pasta and chopped feta on top.

Scribblegirl · 18/08/2017 16:39

I know I don't have kids but seriously, how do all you people who eat at five not starve later?! I only ate lunch 3 hours ago, I'm not thinking about dinner until 8ish!

Rockandrollwithit · 18/08/2017 16:41

Courgette spaghetti with roasted tomatoes and feta (lots of it!)

LesLavandes · 18/08/2017 16:44

Not in mood but will try and make a macaroni cheese with pancetta

JustBeingJobless · 18/08/2017 16:45

Melt in the middle cheese burgers in brioche buns with wedges and coleslaw. Wish I could take the credit for making the burgers but they're Aldi through and through!

Groovee · 18/08/2017 16:46

Homemade beef curry

Apocalyptichorsewoman · 18/08/2017 16:48

Southern chicken wraps with salad.

NeedMoreSleepOrSugar · 18/08/2017 16:51

Steak, peppered sauce and wedges. Veg will depend on what's in the veg box. Cherry torte for dessert

Decaffstilltastesweird · 18/08/2017 16:51

Oh I love these threads!

Roast chicken breast, potatoes roasted in olive oil and salad here.

Last night was veggie spaghetti bolognese, (lentils instead of meat).

Will look back over the thread for inspiration for other nights!

ZaraW · 18/08/2017 16:52

RandomlyGenerated I've spent years visiting and working in the ME these are just staples in the region apart from baking the falafel and not frying. I'm certainly not MC or have any desire to be.

FruitBadger · 18/08/2017 16:53

Chicken korma, with some paneer & spinach chucked in, rice & poppadoms Smile

SissySpacekAteMyHamster · 18/08/2017 16:58

FlyingGoose · 18/08/2017 16:59

Seafood paella for DP and children. Frozen pizza for me because I don't like seafood. I will cook it for them though!

catlovingdoctor · 18/08/2017 17:00

Pan fried turkey breasts with homemade potato gratin and tenderstem broccoli!
