To be irritated by Mo Farah getting his children on the track for photos...

I'm probably bring irrationally irritated but I get annoyed by all sports people who bring their children onto the sports "arena" - whether the track or the snooker hall or wherever - when they're doing the photo call. Lovely to hear them thank their families for their support but....

Yabu. Their families make huge sacrifices,Monday trains away for months. Why shouldn't they join him in celebrating?

2014newme · 13/08/2017 09:57

Mo not Monday!

araiwa · 13/08/2017 09:57

But what?

MagdalenLaundry · 13/08/2017 09:58

I love how he does that
yabu

HerOtherHalf · 13/08/2017 09:59

I can't for the life of me even begin to imagine why that would annoy anyone.

Sukitakeitoff · 13/08/2017 09:59

Yabu. He must spend a huge amount of time away from his kids and knows the younger ones probably won't even remember his track career. It's a way of making them part of it.

notevernotnevernotnohow · 13/08/2017 09:59

How "man takes photo with his children" possible irritate you?

PantPlot · 13/08/2017 10:00

Why does it bother you?! Grin

MrsOverTheRoad · 13/08/2017 10:00

I sort of know what you mean but who can blame him really? He wants them to share his glory...experience and gain from what he's worked so hard for.

That's what parents do.

NormaSmuff · 13/08/2017 10:01

back in 2012 he had one daughter while his wife was pregnant with the twins.
i really dont blame him for doing this.
it is a special moment for the whole family.

Babymamamama · 13/08/2017 10:02

He's retiring OP. This is the last time he will probably do this. YABU.

VladmirsPoutine · 13/08/2017 10:03

I'm glad they've lasted (Mo and his wife) whenever I see them together I'm always surprised they got together but more power to them tbh.

MrsJayy · 13/08/2017 10:04

His eldest Dd was hugely proud of him at theolympics the kid made me cry Blush as she went for her photo i think it is nice he does this yabu and grouchy

PantPlot · 13/08/2017 10:05

I vaguely remember after one of his medals in London 2012 she was visibly pissed off with him for something (did she want him to hold a sign or summat?)

Made me chuckle because it was so 'ordinary' Grin

NorthernLurker · 13/08/2017 10:05

What is your problem op? Hmm

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 13/08/2017 10:05

He's not retiring , he's moving into marathon running, so will possibly be around at the various marathons and games.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 13/08/2017 10:06

Imagine how upset they will be if he'd tried to stop them? Why would he do that?

MrsJayy · 13/08/2017 10:06

Mo isn't retiring he is concentrating on distance/road racing.

Gorgosparta · 13/08/2017 10:06

But what?

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 13/08/2017 10:08

But what op? What point are you trying to make here??

Are you bored this morning?

Hulababy · 13/08/2017 10:08

Seems like a strange thing to annoy you. I think it's lovely.

MrsJayy · 13/08/2017 10:08

I also remember mrs mo at the olympics i was worried she was going to pop those twins out 😀

TheWernethWife · 13/08/2017 10:08

Are you irritated as well with the bloody fame hungry Beckhams who always drag their kids into photo ops or only for Mo

StiginaGrump · 13/08/2017 10:08

Man shares his success with family who support him. Talks about his wife's support and thanks her - the bastard! Or not...

mydogisthebest · 13/08/2017 10:10

I thought it was lovely that he did that. He is as proud of them as they are of him. It made me a bit tearful to be hones to see just how happy his eldest daughter was
