AIBU to ask what you can never get the hang of using?

For me it's window blinds. The strings always confuse me, they flip the wrong way, or get jammed. At work I managed to pull some off the wall. We moved into a new house last week and I've already got the blinds in 2 different rooms wonky and stuck.

I'm also pretty useless with tin openers and usually have to ask for assistance.

Kindle Fire tablet thing.

Venetian blinds have their own room in hell.

I can't manage to reseal resealable cheese etc, so I struggle for a bit then pretend I've done it and hope the cheese doesn't dry out before someone else comes along and reseals it again (or drops cheese on floor because it's not sealed...)

Present wrapping. With all the patience and prep in the world I still make books look like toy dinosaurs.

Surf boards, they are too long.

My dh folded up the kids scooters to store. I recently put them ( still folded ) into the boot and took off for a lovely day scooting. When we arrived at the park it took me 20 mins to unfold two scooters... I still don't know what I did to unfold it as I was quite frantic by the end. I called my dh and looked up a you tube vid and still couldn't work it out. I have told dh NEVER to fold them again... the kids never need to hear me swearing like that again.

Eyeliner

TV remotes. We have about fifty these days and I'm never sure what does what.

The windscreen wipers on my car. It's very hit and miss. I've had the car nearly three years.

Spreadsheets. I can't even.

Tin openers. I have broken loads over the years until DP showed me how to use one properly. I thought you held them horizontally on the top.
I still have to think about it first.

mumbod is your car a Vauxhall? The wipers on my Corsa are ridiculous, they're really counter-intuitive so you end up with them flapping away like it's monsoon season when there's a light drizzle.

Chop sticks

Making the right amount of pasta for a meal- I make enough for a rugby team every time 😂

The gear stick and clutch, could never master those two.

Umbrellas. Can't work them. I am good at leaving them on the bus though.

iTunes. I've just got a deal for 6 months free but I just can't figure out how to use it. Grrrr 😡

Tape guns. I use them sometimes at work and can never just cut the tape with it easily, I end up wrestling with it and getting it all twisted.

@MumBod my colleague built me the most beautiful spreadsheet today. I was in awe.

For me, cling film. I had a big fight with some this morning and came very close to throwing it out of the kitchen window.

Until fairly recently, the buttons you press to summon lifts up and or down. It has to be explained to me that if you want to go up, you press the up arrow button and vice verse. Mind blowing!

Oh, and taking the key fob thing out of the car ignition. I can't seem to do it without switching the engine on again.

And Twitter. I'm basically a complete Luddite who should never be allowed out alone!

Cling film....the work of the devil!

Long division. Never could do it.

Lighters. Good job I'm not a smoker as I just can't get the damn things to work at all!
