For me it's window blinds. The strings always confuse me, they flip the wrong way, or get jammed. At work I managed to pull some off the wall. We moved into a new house last week and I've already got the blinds in 2 different rooms wonky and stuck.

I'm also pretty useless with tin openers and usually have to ask for assistance.

Oh god yes those dispenser plunger things. Bought some lovely shampoo in one and I was almost resolved to take the bastarding thing back to the shop for the staff to unlock it for me - then it released itself. No idea how.

The80sweregreat · 03/08/2017 21:12

Soap dispensers. They do not work for me. Hand it to dh or ds 1 and it all goes well.
Im doomed.

How ive made 52 is anyones guess at times.

powershowerforanhour · 03/08/2017 21:23

Most of the aforementioned and also nonchalantly getting the top off a beer bottle using any random object or surface and a cool little flick of the wrist. I need a proper bottle opener and even those took me about 5 years to learn how to use.

AyeAyeFishyPie · 03/08/2017 21:25

Hair straighteners/hair driers. I don't understand how you can do it unless you have three pairs of hands?!

2tiredtothinkofausername · 03/08/2017 21:44

Roundabouts, eye shadow and 100% agree with blinds. I could go on but I'll leave it there! Grin

The80sweregreat · 03/08/2017 21:48

Measuring things like windows for curtains, carpets etc.
mystery.

SylvesterTheCat · 03/08/2017 22:18

Teapots that spill everywhere except in my teacup.

PeapodBurgundy · 03/08/2017 22:22

NipInTheAir I just snorted laughing at that one. My first Mammy Meltdown involved me stood in the middle of costa coffee at 6.30am with a hysterical 4 day old baby, screaming at my boobs to 'Just fucking make milk!! It's not difficult!! Cows do it all the time!!! I can now look back and laugh (and feel both sorry for and grateful to the staff who looked after me)

I cannot for the life of me manage to use two allan/hex keys at the same time. I end up twisting them both in the same direction, thus acheiving nothing aside from getting myself in a mood

MimsyFluff · 03/08/2017 22:33

Spelling and grammar. I'm dyslexic it's so irritating! I game but God I can't play shooting games anymore since having the DC they've somehow broken my shooting finger's! If/when there is a war I'll have to use other weapons! auto corrected that to tampons!

My mum asked me to find her a laptop I got her an amazing one totally amazing and a steal of a price. She can turn it on that's it I want to steal it such a waste of beautiful machinery.

llangennith · 03/08/2017 22:37

Central heating timer controls. I've lived here 10 years and have to go switch it on when I wake up then run back to bed till the house warms up. No coming home to a nice warm house for me.

Sunnydays365 · 03/08/2017 23:51

ikea instructions or any instructions for wardrobes, tables etc without words..I cannot process anything I just go blank. Map reading too

emmasfabulous · 04/08/2017 01:48

Plucking my eyebrows
Whistling properly
Cooking anything stupidly simple

BlooBagoo · 04/08/2017 02:15

Electric car windows. I press the button the wrong way every time (ours is a push down or lift up one rather than the rocking switch type which I'm much better with).

Totally agree with blinds. Especially when some have a pole to twist and others you have to guess the right cord.

Coffee machines that are a different brand to my own. Guaranteed I'll press every button except the on button in my quest to find it.

And Instagram. Tried many times. Can't do it.

HerRoyalNotness · 04/08/2017 02:27

Zips on hoodies and coats. Always get the bloody things stuck at the beginning bit and can't do them up. No problem on my jeans though

UnderslungBowlingBall · 04/08/2017 04:16

Whistling
Holding anything still with my arms (can do it with my feet)
Lighters
Matches
Candles (fuckers won't light)
Any kind of door ever (I ALWAYS push pull doors and vice versa, plus seem to be the only person in the family who consistently walls into revolving doors (speed up damnit)

peonyinparadise · 04/08/2017 05:20

Bella, with you on EXCEL. Plus the bloody car seat 😬

Supermagicsmile · 04/08/2017 05:50

Snapchat!

LittleCandle · 04/08/2017 06:54

I can knit excellent holes where no holes are meant to be! I can't do more than sew on a button, yet can produce beautiful, complicated cross stitch. I can't count to save myself and percentages have always been a closed book (dyscalculia anyone?) I can't open bottles of fizz at all. I struggle with most bottle caps (have to take a knife to open the child-proof lock on the CAT'S medication). Excel is a closed book to me, but I've never had to use it. If I want to know how to do something technical, I have to phone DD2 Blush

And yet I am generally competent, well read, good in a crisis, can drive anywhere, I can even reverse park a large hire car, but I struggle a lot more with the C1 that I drive every single day! It's so good to know I am not alone!

mummyrabbitpeppapig · 06/08/2017 12:16

Plaiting DD hair. Or making it look anything less than a bird's nest. Can't plait mind either :/

SylvesterTheCat · 06/08/2017 15:08
