I've been lurking throughout but @miserylovescompany2 's pic compelled me to post. Please please please OP put that evil grinning gnome (EGG if acronym is required) facing through their glass! Then they will know they are being watched. Mwah... ha.... ha.....

As you can see nacho is a very scary looking dog he will do the job of guarding your garden whatiswatt for the princely sum of some cold meat and cuddles

lynn
It was a Blur song from the mid-90s where the lyrics were something a bit banal and waffley, and then PARKLIFE

When it was originally posted in the first thread, a pp quoted a bit of a previous post that was a bit like the waffley bit of the song and then PARKLIFE in caps afterwards

One of those 'you had to be there' moments
Both re the mid-90s and the original thread...

annielouise · 29/07/2017 22:00

Is this bouncy castle really happening?
You warning the neighbours you're having a party in your garden? Just to be neighbourly and to underline to Barry and Julie it is your garden and you might be having the odd party odd there and while you might invite them sometime if they apologise and put right the door/window they can't be popping through into the garden the quick way but will have to come round the front way like everyone else that has no business in your garden.

BossyBitch · 29/07/2017 22:00

OMFG, I'm hooked on this story. It's like the better version of a tv show and without the weekly wait in between new episodes.

It's also making me feel a lot better about my own CFN (nowhere near as bad - she doesn't appreciate people grilling/smoking/drinking/having non-whispered conversations in the actually communal garden and demands that people don't use their laptops outside after dark as it shines a light into her bedroom).

OP, I think I may have a bit of a girlcrush on you for adding this to my life! Grin

annielouise · 29/07/2017 22:01

The communal flats where my mother lives she has a similar set up - her patch of garden is under someone's window. I can't believe the cheek of someone doing what's happened to you. Saying that, the front garden is communal but one of the flats has "claimed" it with fences. I would have put my foot down but my mother wasn't bothered as she has another entrance to the side.

Newmum102 · 29/07/2017 22:02

It's getting late OP, surely CFNs must be home?

annielouise · 29/07/2017 22:02

I'm laughing at the thought of Barry and Julie having found this thread and reading about themselves, thinking I don't look like a Barry, do I?

gingergenius · 29/07/2017 22:04

Two questions: what type of bouncy castle have you decided on OP

and what time me is the fake DC party? I've got done appointments and I don't want them to clash!!

londonrach · 29/07/2017 22:04

Ok...i went out for the day.,,what i miss and whats this about a bouncy castle party?

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 29/07/2017 22:04

ChasedByBees · 29/07/2017 22:05

Alwaystired122 · 29/07/2017 22:09

nomorebabiesyet · 29/07/2017 22:10

Ooo where in the south? I have a 2.5 year old. A 4 year old and a 3 month old who are so bored they will go mad! Love a good bojncy castle! I will bring snacks Grin

MrsHandles · 29/07/2017 22:10

Jeez, you scared me with the lack of link in the 5th thread.

I'm in Somerset and would happily come to a bouncy castle party. I have no children (yet) but as a teacher, I know MANY. Should I hire a bus load for you?

winobaglady · 29/07/2017 22:11

So, NSK didn't spot the CFBs when they came back???
What if, what if (I can hardly type this) NSK is some kind of double agent? Shock

GlitteryFluff · 29/07/2017 22:11

Should we take bets for how many threads this will end up having? Definitely double figures right?!

SchadenfreudePersonified · 29/07/2017 22:11
