Nope, she's not been on this morning.

ClarindaDazzle · 30/07/2017 11:50

I've read every thread (I think) and I've still got questions - sorry!
When did CFN move in?
Has Watty ever seen CFN?
Does their flat have a window that looks over onto anyone else's garden?
and (just checking) the new doors are in the kitchen and haven't replaced the first set - yet. Is that right?
Love these threads. Hope CFN turn up soon.

SnickersWasAHorse · 30/07/2017 11:51

Yes the builders have been back since the notice was put the door. However, it may have been in an envelope say 'the owner' or if not just written piece of paper. Either way if you are not the owner then are you going to read it? More likely you would just pick it up with the Lidl and pizza leaflets and put it on the side.

C8H10N4O2 · 30/07/2017 11:52

Gutted that username MrsTrellis has already gone. Too many R4 listeners here for that to stay unclaimed.

Hoping OP and GLF are having a long lie in this morning and not being troubled by CFBs.

mummyofmoomoos · 30/07/2017 11:53

The trello board is a thing of exquisit beauty!

Trliv · 30/07/2017 11:54

Do all the flats have gardens or only the op?
In terms to fire escape windows. We have two in our house. Both lead out onto out own garden

Vango · 30/07/2017 11:55

Four of the six flats have gardens.

Veronicat · 30/07/2017 11:56

One question from me to add to ClarindaDazzle ones. I may have missed it as I had to go to work yesterday afternoon. Damn real life getting in the way!
When were OP doors put in? I'm hoping that the fact they are there won't set a precedent.

Jg1 · 30/07/2017 11:58

Wake up Wattyyy We're going to need you to start Thread the 7th soon and I'm panicing!! HmmShockConfused

Vango · 30/07/2017 12:00

Irrelevant, I suspect, Veronicat. The OP has doors leading to her own private garden. There is no garden attached to the CFN's flat. Anything overhanging (eg an open door) is not permitted.

faithinthesound · 30/07/2017 12:03

When did CFN move in? Recently - no date specified that I've seen.
Has Watty ever seen CFN? She said she hasn't. NSK may or may not have seen someone who may or may not have been Chinese. We are awaiting confirmation.
Does their flat have a window that looks over onto anyone else's garden? You'll have to ask Wattyyyy.
and (just checking) the new doors are in the kitchen and haven't replaced the first set - yet. Is that right? Yup, that was my bad. Second set of doors inside, resting on kitchen unit. Evidence of second builder visit (i.e., AFTER cease notice delivered) consists of five cigarette butts and misappropriation/movement of building detritus.

Guys, I have to go to bed. If this thread fills up before OP comes back, can someone please PM me the link to the new one?

ClashCityRocker · 30/07/2017 12:05

I hope op is OK - I don't think she's posted since the Gorilla Taping of the Door.....

Rugratwrangler · 30/07/2017 12:05

veronicat I'd assume there were always doors there, it seems like it was built that way

faithinthesound · 30/07/2017 12:05

Oh, and as far as I understand it, OP's doors were part of the initial design - largely (I'm assuming) because she has a garden that would need to be accessed. CFN's lack of doors is because they have no garden, nor do they have right of access to OP's garden, so there was no need for doors, so no doors were put in the initial blueprints.

But that's just me applying logic to a situation where logic may be counterindicated, given the behavior of CFN so far!

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 30/07/2017 12:07

I don't think they're coming back!

@C8H10N4O2
@faithinthesound
The Trello is truly beautiful.
And I've finally decided to own up to my DH about what it is actually do with my days, so he's currently reading from Singapore (though six threads in, it'll probably be tomorrow before he gets to The Ballad of Julie and Barry). Could you add Singapore to the countries list please?

MarilynWhirlwindRocks · 30/07/2017 12:10

"Gutted that username MrsTrellis has already gone. Too many R4 listeners here for that to stay unclaimed."

What about "TheLovelySamantha" instead, if you're wanting an ISIHAC-themed username, C8? Wink

BoneyBackJefferson · 30/07/2017 12:13

I am begining to think that this a BTL.

she is probably ringing to find out if you are still able to cater the wedding....
sorry entirely wrong thread, I have reported myself

Thanks. was about to go look at the trello to find the wedding part I missed. [Smile]

Vango · 30/07/2017 12:14

Barry Cryer's singing about The Turnip of Serendipity or The Serendipitous Turnip tight now!! From Kate Bush's Album "Wuthering Shite" apparently 😂.

Vango · 30/07/2017 12:14

*right

C8H10N4O2 · 30/07/2017 12:17

@Judashascomeintosomemoney

Excellent - we now have Singapore added to the list. Still hopeful of a reader in Korea :)

If he wants the precis @Faithinthesound 's 'list of events' gives the whole saga in note form.

@lborgia was the genius who found the little flag icons (I'm rubbish at graphics) and @madcapcat is now compiling the food column

C8H10N4O2 · 30/07/2017 12:18

@vango now wondering how many of us are listening to ISIHAC simultaneously...
