Hello everyone, new thread as requested. hopefully MNHQ could be so kind (as they already have been) to verify that I'm the OP from the original four threads?

Sorry again about the title NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON ANYMORE but I will try to keep you all updated. I'll probably not be back till the morning but THANKS for all the support and nice messages Grin

I agree with the pp who said you need to get a CCTV camera sorted asap.

sobeyondthehills · 29/07/2017 18:51

I would make sure you email/phone the planning people as well.

gingergenius · 29/07/2017 18:51

I know trespass is a civil matter but log it anyway in case it escalates. Stay safe @WhatIsThisWatt xxx

gingermumi · 29/07/2017 18:51

Definitely get police involved now. Photograph everything and put firm note through door, as others have said, telling them they are not to trespass in your garden further.

Mumsnut · 29/07/2017 18:51

Do the cable tie thing

HelloCanYouHearMe · 29/07/2017 18:51
Shock
WhatIsThisWatt · 29/07/2017 18:51

tatterd I thought that too but may be wrong?

I don't really want to waste their time considering nothing is actually going on at this moment.

Angry can't believe them

Yes to all the above. Run 101 now. Get advice. Say you're concerned as lone woman etc. Photograph cigarettes.

Did your solicitor get back to you? I vaguely remember you contacting them. Chase up on Monday.

I would stick a sign up saying private property. Also you can get some apps that mimic security cameras - recording when there's movement - might be an option if you can get security cameras right now

spectacularvelvet · 29/07/2017 18:52

Please tell us that there isn't another window they could be planning to knock out so they have 2 sets of doors into the garden ShockShockShock

laura1206 · 29/07/2017 18:52

Can you block their entrance into your garden? Or inform the police? That's trespassing! Cheeky fuckers.

Flamingosarepink · 29/07/2017 18:52

What CFs they are! New doors? Ones that they reckon will pass planning i bet.
What a bunch of dick.

Take a photo of new doors and cigarette butts. You need to builf a case of toyal fuckwattery backed with evidence.

I can imagine you coming home one day to find CFN hS built a patio stes snd put a lazyspa on it. Perhsps they"ll even fence themselves off an area! They seem to be totaly oblivious to the cheeky fuckery snd probably capable of anything!

Enjoy your wine Watty. You deserve it!

Jedimum1 · 29/07/2017 18:53

Keep the cigarettes in a plastic bag, avoid touching them too much, mighr be DNA evidence if needed? You never know. I'd also call 101 and enquiry, explain the situation, that it's your private garden and they've opened illegal doors to it and they are using it (as you have cigarette buts). If anything, they will keep the report and might be useful? And yes to take pictures of everything! Have they seen your deeds / ownership of garden papers?

UnicornSparkles1 · 29/07/2017 18:53

I once posted cigarette butts back to a neighbour who kept flicking them over my fence. It stopped the problem.

Write to them and inform them that the garden is yours, not communal. And that you do not give permission for it to be used by them, workmen, Santa Claus or any random passing fucker. At this point I'd also consider contacting a solicitor.

Flowersinyourhair · 29/07/2017 18:53

Has the OP actually seen the CFN? I'm wondering whether the builders are the owners?

Kezzamo · 29/07/2017 18:53

Oh man I can't believe CFN did that whilst you were out! Imagine how excited we would all have been if you'd caught them in the act! Looks like another night of staring excitedly at my phone!

OhGodWhatTheHellNow · 29/07/2017 18:53

Slim no idea - municipal inertia? They apparently have one enforcement officer for the whole county and he only checked when he was pushed not by me

Scarpetta1982 · 29/07/2017 18:54

The notice planning would have put through their door would have expressly prohibited them doing ANYTHING more to the property. They can't even change the doors for the others they have purchased. I would also bounce off an email to the lovely planning lady Grin
Why do I get a really grim feeling that they are reading all of this? Hmm

Honeypot1 · 29/07/2017 18:55

Not how I'd want to be spending a Saturday night Op FlowersGinWine
Like others, enjoying the humour but despairing at the situation... is Spanish Gran coming? In my eyes she wears a cape. And a bandana. Super Senorita Gran!
And seriously, tell 101. If you are alone and there are signs people are accessing your property illegally, I'd hope they'd be able to make time to discuss this through.
More FlowersGinWine for good measure.

Needsomeflapjacks · 29/07/2017 18:55

You need this

TakesTheCake · 29/07/2017 18:56

Shockers me too. It isn't Ken, but Raj, in my mind's eye.

This story is blowing my gaskets. Maybe put a note through saying you look forward to receiving a key to the door so that you will get reciprocal access into their flat and all accompanying facilities. But maybe sarcasm is not what is required here. Grin but my mind keeps coming back to that: if they expect by knocking a door through to gain use of your garden, why should you not accordingly get access to their flat?!

Scarpetta1982 · 29/07/2017 18:57

And I also think a call to 101 is in order- explain the whole situation and your safety concerns, yes it is civil, but they can still send out a pcso or neighbourhood officer etc.

Foreverhopeful22 · 29/07/2017 18:57

To be honest I would call 111 and make a police statement that they are entering your garden. The neighbours have received something through their door from the planners.

I really would speak to the police about having builders, etc on your private garden . I'm not saying call 999 but the police will make a statement and this you can also give to your insurance company as they may cause more damage etc. It can't hurt

Emus · 29/07/2017 18:58

How have the managed to source new doors so quickly?!

OP - are you home for the rest of the weekend and applied for leave next week?!

MyProperTea · 29/07/2017 18:58

Can you put up a nice big sine on a post facing there doors, saying...

You have no right to access this garden, cctv is in use and will be used to take you to court.

Lazyafternoon · 29/07/2017 18:58

It just gets weirder!

I'm about as unconfrontational as it gets. But I think you need to try and get in contact with them. Perhaps a letter, in an envelope, just asking them to give you a call to discuss the 'works'?!

I can't remember if you'd already written a note?!
