Trouble with mumsnet threads, is that they operate in a different time continuum from real life.
So 24 hours on a thread seems like a week.
Whatttyyy mentioned that her Spanish granny was threatening to pay a visit and a hour later (admittedly one and a half threads later) someone was asking if Granny had landed at the airport yet....
