I can't believe this is the fourth thread.

To summarise: CFN have seemingly done a disappearing act, my friend is now OUTSIDE the shop but still talking to the shop owner man.

I'm waiting on the wine I can see in her hand.

It wasn't confirmed what the noise was. Mysterious dust sheets containing mysterious stuff (rubble?) appeared outside CFNHQ. OP has taken pics of those and contents I believe. Could you tell what was inside OP?

Cheeky things! We once got invited to stay with family only to find out when we got there they were going away and we were to babysit the builders! Are you sure there's no unsuspecting house guest in there!!!

I have spent the whole evening sat reading these threads and am now gutted that I need to wait for updates. It's like a really good book that you can't put down but at the same time don't want it to end.
Must say the threads on here past few days have been better the tv.

A slightly over dramatic summary...

The story so far

Once upon a time in a land not that far away lived princess Wattyyy 👸. She lived in a lovey flat where she spent her days frolicking in her private garden. 🌻🌼

One day poor Wattyyy came home to find her lovely private garden was being invaded by people from the nearby kingdom of cheeky fuckers!! Worse than this in trying to break into the garden they had destroyed a beautiful old window.

Poor Wattyyy was upset and angry about the destruction and invasion she tried to speak to the builders but they quickly scarpered🏃🏽. So she called up the knights from the planning office 👷🏻‍♀️👷🏻. They were very cross at what had been done and promised to make the nasty CF repair the damage.

However despite much searching the CF's who are also known as Barry and Julia are no where to be seen. Detectives from the ever helpful land of Mumsnet think the may have been spotted in spain Barry and Julia?? .

Wattyyy needing support phoned her grandmother in Spain who so upset and angry at what is occurring is now making plans to come (with a paella 🥘 pan I believe) and beat CF for messing with her granddaughter. As grandma might take a while Wattyyy called her friend over. Brave friend went on a quest to the shop for the most pressure treasure 🍷 and information but has yet to return...

Thus ends chapter one, tune in for chapter 2 when will friend get back from the shops? Where are Barry and Julia?? Is grandma comming or not??

Just to note Op, I have discussed with dh who is a building regs inspector. He said as long as the doors aren't wider than the window was, there's no concern of structural integrity as there will be an old wooden lintel there. (Just in case you were worried about imminent wall collapse!)
