I can't believe this is the fourth thread.

To summarise: CFN have seemingly done a disappearing act, my friend is now OUTSIDE the shop but still talking to the shop owner man.

I'm waiting on the wine I can see in her hand.

I think Mumsnet is going to combust of the CFN have gone away for the whole weekend! ... or will we be on thread 99 by Monday?

Oh no I've missed loads. I last read when planning were there taking photos. Who's the Spanish grandma and why is your friend in a shop? Please summarise!!!

I have to say I lost it at the thought of Spanish Grandma chasing the CFNs waving a paella pan

I told my dad all about this (retired builder), and as soon as I mentioned "listed building" his eyes went wide and he went "OOOO dear". He told me he used to triple check paperwork to avoid doing any damage to listed buildings as he has worked on a few in the past.

Help someone with a summary please. I'm at work and last time I checked phone (on the sly) Barry and Gloria were still AWOL despite some strange noises outside. Now there is Spanish Grandma, drunk friend and D cats!!! I'm missing out here and it's not fair.

I was up to speed and at the start of thread 2 this morning- how did we make it to thread 4 and where are the CFNs?!? Just filled DH in and he is now invested in this too

My DH is talking to me and I have no idea what he's on about because I can't pull myself away from this thread long enough to listen. I love this so much, it's made my day! Thanks Wattyyy

Op this best not become like that fucking Victorian suitcase or cupboard or whatever it is.

My DH is also invested (I've been filling him in on other classics such as artisan fat balls and pom bears too!). He can't understand why the builders would put themselves at risk by agreeing to such dodgy work.

Dying to know if your friend comes back with any juicy info from the shop!
