I can't believe this is the fourth thread.

To summarise: CFN have seemingly done a disappearing act, my friend is now OUTSIDE the shop but still talking to the shop owner man.

I'm waiting on the wine I can see in her hand.

A welcome home present for outside their door soon-to-be-expensively-installed-old-window.

Summary to the best of my memory

1. OP came back home to see that there were builders in her garden transforming her neighbour's (CFN) window into French doors
2. Garden is OP's, exclusively. She's got the paperwork ready to confirm it
3. Building is a listed building
4. Builders disappeared quickly and removed all the stickers with their info, as soon as they knew OP had taken pics. They might be related to CFN
5. OP called planning permission or protected listed buildings, I can't remember which one, who said they would be today as it was alarming that CFN had done that.
6. They have been and it's definitely not ok
7. CFN have not returned, nor have the builders
8. OP was concerned that CFN might be furious or intimidating, so she called a friend to come over. Said friend is amazed at the number of replies in this thread. She's gone to the shop with the excuse to get more wine, but in reality also to gossip and get info.
9. OP's cats know something is odd and have not gone out to the garden

10. OP has a Spanish Nana who after hearing all this is currently planning to flight here and help

I think I'm forgetting something and probably someone has posted another summary whilst I was typing!

I really hope they haven't gone away for 2 weeks!

I've just tried to explain this entire scenario to DH and he wasn't getting it all...even after proclaimation of 'but its on the 4th thread!!!' nothing....clearly got to LTB.....

I did try and get advice for op they were trying to explain the regulations on this to me but there's was too much fing and blinding and slurring to understand what they were saying but the convo did give me some amusement while I'm waiting on op updating ☺️ Op from what I could gather the boys or all on ur side 😂😂😂

I told my OH about this thread in the car this afternoon. He has since been after updates. I also told him about the original CFN/CFNE parking thread and now I think he might have to join MN

Wow, I have just read all the previous 3 threads!
Shame that the ugly doors are totally in place and shut, imagine if your cats got in to CFN's accidently but managed to take their dinner but not litter tray for the night.....

Am at computer tracking daughter's flight home on FlightRadar (a little quirk I like to keep to myself, if you met me you would swear I was normal).

I've been filling in the time by reading some of the Classics and been crying laughing so hard I've finished the box of tissues on the computer desk and developed a slight headache.

Now I've found this thread. Excellent! What will happen first, flight landing or friend returning, bearing wine? Or even the advent of the CFN?
