I can't believe this is the fourth thread.

To summarise: CFN have seemingly done a disappearing act, my friend is now OUTSIDE the shop but still talking to the shop owner man.

I'm waiting on the wine I can see in her hand.

I'm really going to have to take stuff out out of the oven before it burns.

Will pick up tomorrow to find out if OP's friend has discovered anything about the DFNs from the corner shop guy, whether the DFNs have come home, whatever.

Alas it's the weekend when NO COUNCIL OPERATES so if the builders come back and the DFNs steal in and completely break down the place OP will be on her own. But no! she said up thread she had a mobile number for the planning officer.

ALL IS NOT LOST.

I can't believe we are so excited about seating the return of someone from a shop...! My dh is away out, I'm hoping he's not back any time soon as frankly it will just bug my happiness

My also invested DH was just offering his services as moral support (he's rather solid, a vicar and former lawyer) when something went crash upstairs and he sent me up to investigate, so you're probably best off without him (it was only a suction toy holder giving up)
