Okay I thought I'd start this for when they inevitably show their faces!!

I have a slight update - I managed to catch the nice neighbour at the other side (I think he'd heard the commotion and was loitering about waiting for me )

He was gobsmacked! Apparently he's lived here for thirty years and has never heard anything like it. I told him I'd keep him updated and he asked if i wanted to come in for a cup of tea, I politely declined hahahah. Glad I now have a nice normal neighbour on my side!

Hilarious if the builder got the wrong flat and was meant to replace the doors to the garden flat on the OTHER side of them! Did the planning folk leave them a sweet note? Or a guide on how to create an indoor garden?

What time is planning man from council turning up? Or did I miss that visit?

I keep imagining a phone call like this:

BUILDER DAD: hiya love, are you enjoying your romantic break?

CFN: oh yes Dad thanks, it's so lovely getting away from it all and having chance to relax!

DAD: good! Good! Listen there's something I need to tell you. I went round your flat with the lads yesterday... You know how I'd mentioned a while back how nice it'd be if you have a door from your kitchen to the garden....

Surely there is no way you can buy a listed property without knowing it is listed. It would be all over the Estate Agents details and also all the conveyancing stuff. The CFN cannot claim ignorance!

I'd be so tempted to phone the CFB (cheeky fucking builder) and enquire as to when they intend to return? As they seem to have forgotten to clear up after themselves...

CraicMammy my sister once had a conversation like that with our parents when she was on holiday. Mum kept saying how her bedroom needed redecorating, sister said absolutely NOT. Worst part is they didn't even finish it. She still hasn't forgotten 15 years later.

Def agree the lawyer's letter reminding them of their lack of garden access is the right way forward. It shouldn't be too expensive. It's a pain to have to do it at all but with people this bonkers I wouldn't take a chance.

They're probably in a garden centre somewhere choosing their outdoor furniture and hot tub........ but I'm glad the planning enforcement team were so quick to help out. Shows how seriously these things are taken. There are some serious fecking idiots in this world.

Wattyyyy, between you and your CFNs (only learnt this acronym from your thread by the way, thanks for that) and AlphaBites and her parking wars, I'm laying the blame at both of your feet if I get fired. I keep coming back for an updates and there's nothing. The suspense is killing me.

OP please find a way to block the doors so they can't get into your garden and, the zip ties mentioned previously would work really well!
