CFN patio doors onto my private garden thread #3

Wattyyyy · 28/07/2017 12:22

Okay I thought I'd start this for when they inevitably show their faces!!

Sorry all the threads have different titles Confused

I have a slight update - I managed to catch the nice neighbour at the other side (I think he'd heard the commotion and was loitering about waiting for me Grin )

He was gobsmacked! Apparently he's lived here for thirty years and has never heard anything like it. I told him I'd keep him updated and he asked if i wanted to come in for a cup of tea, I politely declined hahahah. Glad I now have a nice normal neighbour on my side!

vango
Too clean cut if they turn out to be nasty fuckers

Ruth Wilson?
Gemma Atherton?

Vango · 28/07/2017 17:43

I can't warm to her at all sparechange so either way she'd never be my friend! Grin

Bluntness100 · 28/07/2017 17:44

Defo, Emily blunt. I'm seeing a girl on the train type movie, with the op slugging gin from her hip flask whilst eyeing the ever changing structure of her neighbours walls, and convincing the planners a crime has indeed been committed.

Who is the mastermind behind it? Bazza? Jules? The dodgy builders? Were they in it together? And is the other seemingly benign neighbour, who is in his home doing diy, also committing a planning crime??

It would be nail biting. Grin

fourfuckssake4 · 28/07/2017 17:45

That's it, got to walk the dog, feed the cats do some housework ( or not) have loved this. Will be back. Keep safe Wattey, never been so gripped Wine for you

fourfuckssake4 · 28/07/2017 17:46

Spookle · 28/07/2017 17:46

So many people are looking at thread one that it has gone onto Trending.

They've got a lot of reading to do Grin

user1485851222 · 28/07/2017 17:46

Come on have the neighbours come back yet...
BEST thread EVER

Amaried · 28/07/2017 17:48

Have ready s about a lot cf ers before but think yours get the prize Shock

Penny4UrThoughts · 28/07/2017 17:48

Sorry to point this out op.. But in order to fix the mess, whoever rebuilds the wall will need access to the garden... Is there only (supposed to be) one way in, via your flat?

Spookle · 28/07/2017 17:49

Haha Fourfucks, don't forget the kids Grin

HSMMaCM · 28/07/2017 17:49

If the black bird is a familiar, it will have spotted OP on her sofa!

MimsyFluff · 28/07/2017 17:50

I went out at 12 just got home and so many new posts but still no CFN!

DanHumphreyIsA · 28/07/2017 17:50

I wonder if CFN decided to chance it and get the work anyway, knowing it was listed, but all local builders refused and that's why they've employed someone from miles away as they wouldn't know the local area/building status'.
Not sure if builders have a responsibility to check these things, or do they rely on the homeowner to tell them?

Wattyyyy · 28/07/2017 17:50

Hahaha yes to a festival in my garden, it's just a perfectly flat grassed square so ideal for a mini stage and most importantly a BAR! CFN can watch from their kitchen which I have somehow just noticed it a weird sort of green colour on the top and orangey on the bottom not that it matters but it's hideous

Friend will be here soon, we're going to sit outside if the rain stays away.

Why did it have to be me that buys a place with the CFN from hell who seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth 😂

Thanks for the update Fuckyou - I vaguely remember your thread at the time and had a re-read this afternoon (instead of cleaning the bathroom) and am glad to hear both horses and fields are in good nick.

Mummyoflittledragon · 28/07/2017 17:52

Oh better feed the kids

Dd has had toast having recently learnt to make toast herself, 4 mini sausage rolls, strawberries and a mini twister. The only thing I did was cook the sausage rolls. Quality tea. She has home cooked every day though so it's not so bad. She's happy and I'm keeping myself apprised of events. Lovely jubbly, everyone's a winner.

Bluntness100 · 28/07/2017 17:52

Well first off I think they can use the handy patio doors installed in their own home...Grin

SoupDragon · 28/07/2017 17:52

doesn't mean it's okay to have a go in the way some on here have.

Perhaps he should have given that some thought before starting out by saying that (in a non listed building) he would do the same as the CFNs And not to get away with it and finishing up by calling the OP nasty for moving her sofa so CFN couldn't see her and claiming to be physically intimidating [shrug]

SoupDragon · 28/07/2017 17:53

and hope to get away with it

Lweji · 28/07/2017 17:53

But in order to fix the mess, whoever rebuilds the wall will need access to the garden... Is there only (supposed to be) one way in, via your flat?

And you should charge them. Although I'd guess that they will (hopefully) do it from the inside and leave a right mess on the garden side.

Mummyoflittledragon · 28/07/2017 17:54

Not once the wall is rebuilt Bluntness

verystressedmum · 28/07/2017 17:54

I was watching thread 1 and came back to see what had happened!
Can't believe the neighbours are not back, do people really have building work done and just disappear without wanting to see what's been done!
Would they ever hurry up and go home!
So many exclamation marks!!

weatherbomb · 28/07/2017 17:56

Just burnt the bloody rice Blush

DressedCrab · 28/07/2017 17:56

I believe this is a MN record. OP has 3 threads about the same topic in trending.
