CFN patio doors onto my private garden thread #3

Wattyyyy · 28/07/2017 12:22

Okay I thought I'd start this for when they inevitably show their faces!!

Sorry all the threads have different titles Confused

I have a slight update - I managed to catch the nice neighbour at the other side (I think he'd heard the commotion and was loitering about waiting for me Grin )

He was gobsmacked! Apparently he's lived here for thirty years and has never heard anything like it. I told him I'd keep him updated and he asked if i wanted to come in for a cup of tea, I politely declined hahahah. Glad I now have a nice normal neighbour on my side!

My 4'11" 63yo mum uses her privileges of intelligence, wisdom and class to maintain her dignity what a pity she didn't pass any of it on to you newdaddie.

Oh well, at least he's entertaining whilst we await the return of CFN.

marfisa · 28/07/2017 16:21

If anyone wonders why we still need feminism.

Ha, I had exactly the same thought at that point! Grin

toldmywrath · 28/07/2017 16:22

choccoffeegeek sorry to be the pedant, but it's tenterhooks and not tenderhooks.

I've just been reading all about wool use and carding but have stopped to follow this much more interesting thread.

With apologies to you OP, I realise this event is disturbing and upsetting for you. Flowers

DumbledoresApprentice · 28/07/2017 16:23

identifiesasasquirrel The goose can live with the chicken and the blackbird. Grin

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 28/07/2017 16:23

Nice chicken you have there, dumbledore

MyLittlePickleBoo · 28/07/2017 16:25

'If there is a CFN God out there somewhere then Barry and Julie will find some nugget of historic evidence that gives them rights to the garden'

THIS is, by far, the nastiest comment I've personally read on any MN thread. What an absolute prick to wish that the OP lose her garden, and all of the hard-earned money it cost her so that a couple of already thieving wankers next door can benefit from it instead. That's fucking low.

Look, you're clearly scum trying to wind up someone completely innocent who has been put in a vulnerable situation. I bet you're a bully in RL too. I really feel for your poor family! Your ridiculous comments are not wanted here. You're not wanted here. Piss off and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Hope you're ok, OP! We are behind you 100%! Smile

Haha thank you! Yes we definitely need badges or something. Or a branded hip flask full of Gin to stay calm.

Still no CFN! It must have been the builders doing god knows what. They stuff they dumped at the front door is still there. Odd.

IloveBanff I find it genuinely fascinating to hear the views of bafflingly 'entitled' people. Which is why I'm interested to hear why newdaddie has so little sympathy for the OP. And personally I'd rather read posts that are relevant to the story than a hundred one line place mark posts or full stops!

TheLittleShirt · 28/07/2017 16:28

Wattyyyy. have you decided who you would like to play you in the movie? There has to be one!!!!( No, I am not place marking again)

Ellie56 · 28/07/2017 16:28

But is the piece of wall there still OP?

gingergenius · 28/07/2017 16:30

🦉
Here's some wisdom from Newdaddie's mum. He can keep the goose, the chicken and the blackbird company @Wattyyyy! Wink

DumbledoresApprentice · 28/07/2017 16:30

Maybe the planning people called the builders and told them to take all of the bricks and the windows back to the flat. That might be why the stuff has reappeared.

Missingthesea · 28/07/2017 16:31

Perhaps the dirty bags/sheets at the front door are dustsheets?

Anyway, I'm glad you have a friend coming round OP Flowers

IloveBanff · 28/07/2017 16:31

I understand Vango and I apologise.

TheLittleShirt · 28/07/2017 16:31

choccoffeegeek Sorry to be pendant, but is it not pedantic?

TheLittleShirt · 28/07/2017 16:33

Sorry that should be toldmywrath

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 28/07/2017 16:33

Wattyyyy hipflask is a much more sensible suggestion.

Will be raising a glass to you tonight. You have behaved with dignity and sense in the face of some incredible selfishness.

Lweji · 28/07/2017 16:34

"the pedant" not "pedant"
Pedantic is an adjective.
Pedant is a noun.

SparklyMagpie · 28/07/2017 16:35

Flisspaps i'm still crying !! Grin

CookieLady · 28/07/2017 16:37

[parks butt and watches the drama unfold]

Vango · 28/07/2017 16:37

Oh crikey IloveBanff! I don't think there's any need to apologise! But you've got to admit that it's useful to actually see, in first-hand written down words, that some people really don't care about the consequences of their actions on others! It's not often that someone who would happily do what the OP's neighbours have done joins a thread!

TurnipCake · 28/07/2017 16:38

FissPlaps Sparklymagpie

My work is done Grin

GreenTulips · 28/07/2017 16:39

Maybe the builders locked themselves out in their haste? Maybe they are also awaiting CFN to return so they can continue - and nobody has seen the note?

TurnipCake · 28/07/2017 16:39

Totally got your username wrong Flisspaps Blush

Morphene · 28/07/2017 16:40

well I think newdaddie is right...the OP is a terrible hypocrite. She has been happy to use her garden AT THE VERY SAME TIME as not being happy for CFN to use her garden!

She has felt entitled to call the planning office while AT THE VERY SAME TIME had the audacity to be slightly fearful of the actions of people who have demonstrated themselves entitled enough to put a door through a listed building to access a garden they don't own!

Madness....
