CFN patio doors onto my private garden thread #3

Wattyyyy · 28/07/2017 12:22

Okay I thought I'd start this for when they inevitably show their faces!!

Sorry all the threads have different titles Confused

I have a slight update - I managed to catch the nice neighbour at the other side (I think he'd heard the commotion and was loitering about waiting for me Grin )

He was gobsmacked! Apparently he's lived here for thirty years and has never heard anything like it. I told him I'd keep him updated and he asked if i wanted to come in for a cup of tea, I politely declined hahahah. Glad I now have a nice normal neighbour on my side!

I can't believe this thread is already over half way full!

Well, at least you know now for sure that you were right. I hope they put your garden back in order and can some how restore the property!

MyCalmX · 28/07/2017 15:41

festive 😂

ShatnersWig · 28/07/2017 15:41

newdaddie knows all about attitude though. Not only his own, but his wife's, who made his life hell for his spending £250 on a doorbell. She loves confrontation but he doesn't apparently, despite his land grabbing attitude, and enjoys calling their neighbour a "hippy witch" (although she calls her much worse but he didn't want to repeat those). He's a prince among men. We can learn much from him.

PNGirl · 28/07/2017 15:41

Oh yes, we should definitely reward all behaviour on the scale between ignorance and complete brass neck with a free half-garden.

FUNM · 28/07/2017 15:42

@MNHQ CFN acronym not in the list pls update Grin

imisschocolate · 28/07/2017 15:43

Can we all just ignore newdaddie. They're obviously enjoying the attention. If we ignore them hopefully they'll just go away and stop taking up space on the thread.

Gramgram · 28/07/2017 15:44

Flowers for Watty.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 28/07/2017 15:45

Lost a whole hour reading these threads Grin

festivefucker · 28/07/2017 15:45

Yes indeed no feeding the trolls!😊

aleC4 · 28/07/2017 15:47

I have been out all day and just finished reading the updates!
Great news re the planning people.

Vango · 28/07/2017 15:47

newdaddie you seem to be saying that you stood up for yourself and re-claimed a garden that, in part, belonged to you? Am I right?

Yet in the same posts you also appear to be getting wound up about the fact that the OP is doing what she can to protect a garden that legally belongs to her? Is that also right?

You plonked a shed in the middle of yours.....some pps are suggesting restricting access through the newly installed doors....what's the difference?

Genuinely puzzled Confused

Changebagsandgladrags · 28/07/2017 15:48

Between this and waiting for the Open University to do a system reboot I'm either going to lose my mind or my computer is going to explode.

newdaddie · 28/07/2017 15:48

While I'm at it this gem from thread one had me like.

Hmm

I don't think I'm going to go round there, although if they wanted to they could now just walk out into my back garden and look straight in to my flat!! I'll be keeping my doors firmly locked!

You've been able to swan around or look inside or climb into Barry and Julie's window for months if not years. How did they not know that YOU weren't a serial killer.

Hmm

Were they warned that a dangerous MNer was lurking next door armed with risqué gnomes and penguin bollards.

Hmm

the hypocrisy and self entitlement astounds me.

I might sound like a horrible CFN but I work hard for my family and do everything I legally can to that end. If I can't get what I want then I accept it. I learn my lessons and move on to the next project. I hope Barry and Julie do the same.

Bluntness100 · 28/07/2017 15:49

Op. I can't believe they haven't been out examining their new doors, or in the garden looking at the mess. Wouldn't the first thing you do is open the doors and have a look at them.

I guess as they have to come out, they probably are trying to pretend they aren't there.Hmm

EdmundCleverClogs · 28/07/2017 15:50

Have been lurking on all three threads. I would very much advise all to not pay attention to Newdaddie. He has a history of resorting to using rather vile language against women on here when the discussion goes against him. I'm quite surprised he's still here in all honesty.

wotabastard · 28/07/2017 15:50

the hypocrisy and self entitlement astounds me.
Yes, you are coming across as an incredibly self entitled hypocrite, I agree.
Hmm

DumbledoresApprentice · 28/07/2017 15:50

Oh look a chicken! 🐓 It's a lovely chicken, don't you all agree?

laura1206 · 28/07/2017 15:50

Piss off newdaddie

ComedyofTerrors · 28/07/2017 15:51

Anyone know what newdaddie is actually on about?

littlepeas · 28/07/2017 15:51

First ever mumsnet placemark!

ShatnersWig · 28/07/2017 15:51

newdaddied So how is your wife these days? Still giving you grief over your £250 doorbell?

Wattyyyy · 28/07/2017 15:52

dumbledore thanks for the chicken, it can be friends with the blackbird Grin

Marking place on Thread 3 - I keep coming back for the next installment.

wotabastard · 28/07/2017 15:52

I'm still intrigued by the dirty bags/sheets that cfn left outside? What's that about?

DontChewMonkey · 28/07/2017 15:53

I used to live next to a Barry and Julie.
