Couldn't remember the title of the last one so thought that'd do!

No sign of them at all, went out and looked through and all the lights are off, definitely not in. WTF IS GOING ON????

Just settling in for an update. Grin

notapizzaeater · 27/07/2017 20:58

I'm on holidays at the mo, love a good dispute thread 😀

Acopyofacopy · 27/07/2017 20:58

No placemarking here, oh no.

GlitteryFluff · 27/07/2017 20:58

Place marking in the new thread!

PunjanaTea · 27/07/2017 20:58

Gosh that's so cheeky. Good luck with the planning department tomorrow.

there is often a view that it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission when it comes to planning, but definitely not with listed buildings.

In your situation I would write a letter confirming you own the garden in case they weren't aware.

LurkingHusband · 27/07/2017 20:59

.

Hendrytastic · 27/07/2017 20:59

Op don't be worried about whether the enforcement officer will be able to see enough when they visit tomorrow if your neighbours are not in, I imagine they'll see everything they need to from your property. I hope you've relaxed a bit now that it's clear CFN have decided to do a bunk tonight, I'd be very surprised if they showed their faces! I hope they are very very worried and I wish a miserable nights sleep on them!

Flumpernickel · 27/07/2017 20:59

Sticking a big fat unauthorised pin in this thread.

Cleanermaidcook · 27/07/2017 20:59

I wonder where they are though? The builders must have told them or they'd be home by now.

AtHomeDadGlos · 27/07/2017 21:00

The gall of some people.

BrieAndChilli · 27/07/2017 21:00

What sort of door do you have? I'm guessing not a white pvc one, they didn't even try to match it?!

Get some frosting spray and spray it on the door glass!

Whatsername17 · 27/07/2017 21:00

The one thing I don't get though, is if they were acting in bad faith and meant to annexe your garden, then they surely would have expected a fight on their hands. You would be within your rights to have them arrested each time they went outside. I just can't believe this is anything other than a huge error on their part.

CotswoldStrife · 27/07/2017 21:00

Do you have to go out at any point tomorrow? If you do, I would definitely tie the doors shut so no-one can put anything else in the garden in the meantime!

The builders must have had a key for the property to get in from the front so there is the possibility that they could come back.

Dontlaugh · 27/07/2017 21:01

It's listed so they've just wasted ££££££. But it'll be worth reading the fallout/reaction! And yy to PP who said builders related and instructed to do the job asap before anyone noticed.
The saddest aspect of this is your new neighbours are clearly thick.

hippyhippyshake · 27/07/2017 21:01

Just checking in

londonrach · 27/07/2017 21:01

Can someone answer this....there the house open to the elements?

Mimipoo · 27/07/2017 21:01

They have gone on holiday whilst work being done probably. I want to ask where you are in case my brother turns up to deal with it. He loves telling people off for this sort of thing. Typical planning person that he is.

marleyandpea · 27/07/2017 21:02

Shock I've read this open mouthed for the past hour! Cannot believe it OP!!!!!!!!

RiceButt · 27/07/2017 21:02

@Wattyyyy just out of interest what does your door to your garden look like? I imagine PVC French doors would look massively out of place on a period listed building Hmm

Can we have a noesy pic of the french doors? Grin

SnickersWasAHorse · 27/07/2017 21:02

I think that they have been tipped off by the builders and are steering clear.

NEMSparkle · 27/07/2017 21:03

Erm not placemarking at all! Blush

LowGravity · 27/07/2017 21:03

No londonrach . They've fitted cheap plastic doors.

Wattyyyy · 27/07/2017 21:03

piesy lovely thank you 😂

I can see in to their kitchen area, it all looks quite nice and pretty "done" as in there doesn't look like any more work needs doing.

There's a big pile of neatly swept up dust too Angry

Tinkie25 · 27/07/2017 21:04
