Couldn't remember the title of the last one so thought that'd do!

No sign of them at all, went out and looked through and all the lights are off, definitely not in. WTF IS GOING ON????

Aaah so excited!

Elendon · 28/07/2017 11:05

Shamelessly place marking but with a tale of my own regarding listed buildings.

I used to work in a private planning department (large multi-disciplinary offices). One major contract was for the first generation mobile phone masts (company now taken over - this was last century). The company demolished a grade 2* listed farm building - rare type - in order to erect a mast. All hell broke lose, obviously!

IdoHaveAName · 28/07/2017 11:06

3 of them?
A camera?
A tape measure
Notes!
Phonecalls????

Neighbour's goin' down!!

PurityOfChaos · 28/07/2017 11:06

YW. I wish that thread had a conclusion, it was funny though.

Wheresthechicken · 28/07/2017 11:08

Fthey must think it is serious to send four people? Good luck!

cardibach · 28/07/2017 11:08

I have to lack and go away from the weekend within the next two hours. I'm still in pjs. Come on, planners! Make a decision and share it entirely unprofessionally with Wattyyyy so I can get moving!

cardibach · 28/07/2017 11:08

Pack not lack!

Flumpernickel · 28/07/2017 11:09

Oooooh! The cheeky fuckers are in trouble!
Excited for more updates... Grin

nutbutter and Spookle I now need updates on if you're old childhood friends / enemies brought back together through the power of listed building planners

letsstickmyhandinthere · 28/07/2017 11:10

Sitting on the edge of my seat here Brew

Jg1 · 28/07/2017 11:10

OP Thank you thank you thank you! This is a thread that just keeps on giving! Flowers
I've had to abandon my sunbathing as my phone battery died and I couldn't rest without keeping abreast of the situation.
I can't wait for the next live update. Grin

anotherdayanothersquabble · 28/07/2017 11:12

.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 28/07/2017 11:12

OP, if you are outside with the planners could you set up a livestream? Wink

NutButterNutter · 28/07/2017 11:13

Pigflew it wouldn't be enemies (booooooring) but I am most intrigued!

alteredimages · 28/07/2017 11:13

I love the fact that there are three planners at work, completely oblivious to the huge number of lives on hold and quantity of work undone waiting for an update.

SweetEnough that sounds like my house. Am supposed to be packing and moving kids' stuff into storage area. I am unshowered, on my third coffee and DD has pulled out all the art stuff and is making a messy project on a makeshift bed she has created in the sitting room.

I am chewing gum to relieve the tension. I haven't done that since I was about fourteen.

I really really need to get a life. This thread is so addictive.

Msqueen33 · 28/07/2017 11:13

@Oldbutstillgotit clearly you need to LTB!!

FreezerBird · 28/07/2017 11:13

This thread has everything for me. Cheeky neighbours, an OP committed to updating, and listed building legislation (my field, many years ago).

Agree with the pp who said you've made the planners' day. This will be the talk of the office!

However shortly I am going out for the rest of the day so if you could hurry them along a bit OP, I'd be very grateful.

If they don't look as though they'll be forthcoming with you about what's what, I suggest asking what you should say to CFN when they eventually return. I think you'll get a lot from their tone, if no detailed information...

FabulouslyGlamorousFerret · 28/07/2017 11:13

This is jaw droppingly outrageous! I'm worried that the planners will go without giving you anything exciting to update ... I'm desperate for the neighbours to come home now!

god that law student with a side return was a complete trumpet. I reckon she didn't come back because she can no longer afford a broadband connection after neighbour took her to the land tribunal. I hope nobody is paying her for legal advice.

alteredimages · 28/07/2017 11:14

Livestream Grin.

CuriosityDoor · 28/07/2017 11:14

Ask them what the consequences to CFN will be!

Mumsnut · 28/07/2017 11:14

Felling a protected tree could result in a fine of up to .....

£20,000!!!!
