Couldn't remember the title of the last one so thought that'd do!

No sign of them at all, went out and looked through and all the lights are off, definitely not in. WTF IS GOING ON????

I would actually be very happy with a nice house that looked out onto a garden I couldn't access. I like looking at gardens a lot, they're very pretty and make the outside look all tidy.

But I can't be fucked looking after one myself and I don't really see the point of sitting around outside when it's much warmer/less sunburny indoors.

So the OP's CFNs' house would be perfect for me, once it's properly restored!

PurityOfChaos · 28/07/2017 10:48

Veronicat

I read it the other day, here's the thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/legal_money_matters/596463-oops-just-started-an-accidental-neighbour-dispute

sparechange · 28/07/2017 10:49

adalind
Or you can click on 'watch this thread' and then go into 'threads I'm watching'
Same outcome but threads don't get filled up with endless posts of 'placemarking' which means the poor OP has to start new threads

KitKat1985 · 28/07/2017 10:49

Cricketballs that's a good idea actually. I'll give them a couple more days and then start to get a bit tough on it. We're just putting our house on the market and the rubbish really does look awful. x

PieceOfMich · 28/07/2017 10:49

I've only just joined MN, and so far I'm not regretting the decision. This is porn to me. I so hope the neighbours/builders turn up while Planning is there!

Cocopops2 · 28/07/2017 10:50

Wow this thread is awesome Wink

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 28/07/2017 10:51

I'm actually looking at flats to move to, specifically because I can't manage a garden any more. Once your CFNs have moved on OP, can i move in next to you, I promise not to be intrusive when you're in your garden Smile

myusernamewhichisthis · 28/07/2017 10:51

if this thread fills before i get back someone link a new one....i CANT NOT KNOW.

64PooLane · 28/07/2017 10:52

This is peak Cheeky Fucker, isn't it?

There is nowhere to go from here.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 28/07/2017 10:53

Has anyone considered that CFNs could be mnetters?
Thank god for bookmarks, by the time I'd showered it had progressed another ten pages!

StormTreader · 28/07/2017 10:55

Im waiting eagerly for news reports of photos and much tutting and writing on clipboards.

There's the amazing thread about building a kitchen (for £2k) into a shaded passage. It's quite brilliant.

MrsExpo · 28/07/2017 10:57

If they don't hurry up, OP will have to start a third thread. That must be some kind of MN record surely .....

Can't believe how stupid some people are!

gingergenius · 28/07/2017 10:58

I think there should be a separate category called 'is this a cheeky fucker?'

Wattyyyy · 28/07/2017 10:58

They're still here! I'm standing outside with them and have just popped in to update you all Grin

It's all very serious, loads of photos, official measuring tape looking thing, comparing notes/ phone calls, they are not happy!! AHHHH THIS WOULD BE THE PERFEXT TIME FOR CFN TO RETURN!!! Pleaseee!!

SweetEnough · 28/07/2017 10:59

Showered? ohwhat I have not moved all morning, except to make tea; the children have taken over the rest of the house, it's a bit Lord of the flies here! They'll be devastated when/if I put my phone down and take charge again.

trixymalixy · 28/07/2017 11:00

Hope the planners come down on them like a tonne of bricks!!

Booksmusicclothes · 28/07/2017 11:02

DH wants us to go out mid-live CF thread! IHBU?

HappyEverIftar · 28/07/2017 11:02

Like a previous poster mentioned, DH is as gripped by this as I am (his face went Shock as he's an architect) what an unnecessarily stressful situation to put you in OP Flowers.

For what it's worth, DH says structurally, if they've knocked out above the original window height it could be a problem, but anything below wont compromise the integrity of the building. As for planning permission in a grade listed building, they'd only be able to obtain this in extreme circumstances. Even if PP was granted there would a party wall agreement which means CFN would need to get permission from OP, depending on how deeds were drawn up. DH has no doubt your neighbours have an expensive road ahead of them to put this right.

ASDismynormality · 28/07/2017 11:02

I too wonder of the CFNs have seen this thread, would explain their absence.

toomanysmallpeoplecallmemom · 28/07/2017 11:03

Aghggg need to go out - far too invested in this thread ....

NutButterNutter · 28/07/2017 11:03

Spookle your name Shock That's specific and from my childhood 👀 I wonder who you are (and also don't want to know Grin). Or maybe you just made the name up.

Great diagram.

Veronicat · 28/07/2017 11:04

Brilliant, thanks
