Couldn't remember the title of the last one so thought that'd do!

No sign of them at all, went out and looked through and all the lights are off, definitely not in. WTF IS GOING ON????

Actually altered thats not far off the truth. Our best camera is called Maurice. Grin

KitKat1985 · 28/07/2017 10:38

Ooh 3 of them and a camera! That is excellent! This thread is a gripping read.

I'm also massively bloody impressed by the efficiency of your council. It has been 2 weeks since I reported to my own council about a load of rubbish that has been flytipped on the council land behind my house, probably by the horrible people over the road who have form for doing things like this, but I can't prove it and they've done fuck all about it. According to their website they aim to deal with fly-tips within 5 working days. I phoned again last week to chase it and still nothing. Sigh.

Smilingthru · 28/07/2017 10:39

Must be bad if three have turned up so quickly!!

cricketballs · 28/07/2017 10:40

KitKat my Dad had that issue a couple of months ago; he called the local paper and sent a photo in...it was removed within 3 hours Grin

badtime · 28/07/2017 10:40

I thought Newdaddie had completely missed the point - in the case he described, the other neighbours were the CFs, having stolen the communal garden for their private use, and he was the one who stood up to them. This is basically the opposite, as it is a private garden that the CFNs are trying to make communal!

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 28/07/2017 10:40

Can they see the other gardens in the square to see the layout of those too to confirm that they are like yours was.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 28/07/2017 10:41

Go out there and offer biscuits... (and listen!)

chickenowner · 28/07/2017 10:41

We fund our planning department really efficient too. As I mentioned on the first thread we live in a listed house and needed written permission for a flue on the external wall when we replaced our boiler.

My DP phoned them and they asked him to email.

He did, and received permission the next day!!

I also thought it would take weeks and was a little bit worried about not having hot water or heating...

troodiedoo · 28/07/2017 10:41

OMG I can't even! This excitement has got me talking like a youngster. Might have to swipe dds fidget spinner.

alteredimages · 28/07/2017 10:41

That's brilliant liquidrevolution. The things you learn on MN! Smile

PovertyPain · 28/07/2017 10:42

PovertyPain Shan't. Nerner-nernerner.

Now, you see I wouldn't have seen that if I hadn't bloody refreshed the page. 😳😢 curses lack of willpower

chickenowner · 28/07/2017 10:42

We fund? That should be we found!

HorseDentist · 28/07/2017 10:43

The suspense is killing me Blush

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 28/07/2017 10:43

It would be much more efficient if the OP could video when the planning people arrive and make a YouTube account. More efficient all round than diagrams Wink

AdalindSchade · 28/07/2017 10:43

Much easier than place marking is just to check out what page you last read and go to it.

People place mark to get on the thread so it appears in 'threads I'm on'. Personally I don't have ten billion pages open with every thread I'm interested in, I post on them and then I can check all the threads at my leisure. Usually I post something that adds to the thread but with a thread like this it's hard to do that so I just post that I'm place marking. Ok?

youarenotkiddingme · 28/07/2017 10:43

Tell them to hurry up as MN need a resolution!

Veronicat · 28/07/2017 10:44

Has anyone got the link to the classic thread one where someone wanted to build on her shared side passage? I think she was a trainee lawyer? I had it bookmarked to read then reset my mobile history Blush

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 28/07/2017 10:45

OP,make sure you tell the planning officers how popular this thread is, and how much MNers love a good planning thread. I'm sure they would like to know how appreciated they are (I get the impression that it is a rather unappreciated profession)

TimeFliesWhenYoureHavingGin · 28/07/2017 10:45

Thank you for your real time updates, OP.

You're making my 3 hour journey a more pleasurable experience Grin

imisschocolate · 28/07/2017 10:46

Am totally gobsmacked at this and dying to get a resolution.

I missed the thread about the poster stealing an alleyway. Can anyone link?

OneFlewOverTheDodosNest · 28/07/2017 10:46

I hope the planners are very gossipy and start sentences with "Well, strictly speaking we shouldn't be telling you but...."

BadLad · 28/07/2017 10:46

Puts down towel, reserves seat.

Spookle · 28/07/2017 10:46

Tea break check in!

Anyone else singing 'Bertha, oh lovely Bertha' in their head now?

ShesNoNormanPace · 28/07/2017 10:47

You have made those planners day Grin
