Wattyyyy · 27/07/2017 20:25

Couldn't remember the title of the last one so thought that'd do!

No sign of them at all, went out and looked through and all the lights are off, definitely not in. WTF IS GOING ON????

Yay!

Question remains where have the neighbours disappeared to?

ASDismynormality · 28/07/2017 10:25

Can't wait to hear their take on it!

3luckystars · 28/07/2017 10:26

I took the day off.

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 28/07/2017 10:26

Miniswin - somewhere Arradoul/Drybridge way I believe, "awa' up the hill onnywye" Wink

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 28/07/2017 10:26

With your updates, you are really pleasing us.

OP, today I would also contact your mortgage provider about them devaluing (due to the change in appearance and access issues) and as others have suggested the possibility of damage to a load bearing wall. They will want to be informed of this. Also contact your insurance company and the solicitor you used for conveyance.

choccoffeegeek · 28/07/2017 10:27

Can you hear what they're saying in the garden?!! I'm dying here Grin

SapphireStrange · 28/07/2017 10:27

How odd about the disappearing neighbours!

Planning people sound good. Three of them and a camera –that makes me feel reassured!

StaplesCorner · 28/07/2017 10:28

The things you read on here sometimes about people's huge sense of entitlement to others' drives and gardens, its a wonder we don't all come home and find people sat on our sofas watching TV appearing bereft when we dare to mention they don't actually live there.

mrsheathy85 · 28/07/2017 10:28

Omg they must be in real big trouble for them to ring and visit less then 24 hrs after bring reported!!!

so hope they get in real big trouble and for them to arrive home now

timis · 28/07/2017 10:28

What sort of camera? Hope it's a big one.

alltouchedout · 28/07/2017 10:29

OP I am more interested in this thread than anything in my calendar or inbox. Awaiting updates with baited breath.

onalongsabbatical · 28/07/2017 10:29

3 planners and a camera.

Swoons with delight

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 28/07/2017 10:29

Newdaddie's comments made my husband laugh so hard, he put his back out a bit last night. I had to rub him with a rolling pin. Grin

BreconBeBuggered · 28/07/2017 10:30

Neighbours probably want to come back to find it all over bar the shouting. Good luck with that, CFNs.

MiniMaxi · 28/07/2017 10:30

Blimey last time I looked the original thread had about 90 responses. That's my morning sorted!

Not placemarking at all

teabagsrus · 28/07/2017 10:30

Please do not forget to show them the photos you and your mum took, showing the original window @Wattyyyy

simon50 · 28/07/2017 10:32

Lazy. I was just a little concerned that the OP may have opened up an unexpected can of worms and the planning guys may also feel that the OPs french doors may not be in keeping with the building.

We had this with the 1830s house we had, with work had been done by the previous owner. When we had the council look at the windows that we wanted to replace, they started saying as your doing this work we would like you to put this and that right as well !

Once bitten twice shy.

TheLittleShirt · 28/07/2017 10:33

Please pardon my MN ignorance, but are there a maximum number of comments allowed on a particular thread?

Riverdale32 · 28/07/2017 10:33

OP is it worth getting on to land registry to double check that the garden is not showing on their plans / deeds? Could there have been a mistake and they believe they own / jointly own the garden?

KatyBerry · 28/07/2017 10:33

simon, OP has only just bought her property and if she has a french door issue that wasn't raised in giant red capital letters by her solicitor, she's got a pretty much slam dunk negligence claim against them...

Buggeritimgettingup · 28/07/2017 10:33

Sat in hospital (day12) with my wee lad and this thread is keeping me going! ( well that an enormous amounts of caffeine!) I do hope they tell you what they're going to do!

alteredimages · 28/07/2017 10:34

@tinis

What sort of camera? Hope it's a big one.

Is there a positive correlation between camera size and action pursued by enforcement and listed buildings teams?

"Just had a call from a lady in Littlehampton, Sandra. Best get Big Bertha ready."
"Right you are, Bill. I'll just finish up my cuppa."

FFS PEOPLE! Will you all stop posting! I have to clean my stinking house and new posts keep appearing, which of course, means I have to read them. It would be rude not to. looks at dirty floor and heap of dirty dishes. Looks at IPad. iPad wins
