Couldn't remember the title of the last one so thought that'd do!

No sign of them at all, went out and looked through and all the lights are off, definitely not in. WTF IS GOING ON????

I have a theory that these people are mumnetters and read the thread about secret rooms. Spotted your flat and decided that it's a secret room and employed builders to gain access to it. Grin

Would the builders be liable in anyway? When I did some work on a conservation area house the builder was all over the planning permission & paperwork before he started.

whiteroseredrose · 28/07/2017 05:40

The error might be due to something said by the estate agent.

DH used to own some land between his house and some communal garages. One house had access across a bit of it in case of fire, so there was a door from their kitchen onto it.

When the house was on the market I overheard the estate agent telling a couple that they could probably fence the garden off quite cheaply. Obviously I spoke up but if I hadn't they would have been under the impression that the land was theirs. Nothing in the details stated that, but a verbal misunderstanding.

I'm 2 hours ahead of GMT & desperately hoping the council, or whoever it is that is coming to inspect, come early college as I NEED to know the outcome. Pronto!!

mrsRosaPimento · 28/07/2017 05:53

Place mark.

Jg1 · 28/07/2017 05:54

Early doors. Not early college. FFS!

DarthMaiden · 28/07/2017 05:55

Shameless place mark

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 28/07/2017 06:25

Aghhhh why do I have to go away this weekend?! How will I ever keep up with mn if I'm meant to be being sociable?!

Wonders71 · 28/07/2017 06:25

Could you do them for trespassing?

TidyDancer · 28/07/2017 06:32

I am not surprised they haven't come home. My guess is they'll show up during today thinking OP won't be home from work.

I've tried to catch up - did OP get the builders stickers i.e. name in the photos she took?

mrsheathy85 · 28/07/2017 06:36
