Couldn't remember the title of the last one so thought that'd do!

No sign of them at all, went out and looked through and all the lights are off, definitely not in. WTF IS GOING ON????

I wonder where they've gone?! Maybe on holiday Smile

GriseldaChop · 27/07/2017 21:47

Come home CFNs, we need an update!

IdentifiesAsASquirrel · 27/07/2017 21:47

I am too invested in this now

abigamarone · 27/07/2017 21:48

Couple of these in pots would be the perfect addition to any garden (especially in front of a newly installed window)

Small hole appears in thread and two eyes peer through...

Namechangetempissue · 27/07/2017 21:49

So is there property now completely unsecured? Or have the doors gone in? Sorry if I have missed that somewhere!

Was just going to say after they've had to remove the door and reinstate the window please plant a massive tree in front of it, buddliah bush would be ideal. Block all the light for the cheeky fuckers,

dotdotdotmustdash · 27/07/2017 21:50

A pair of rich wankers bought an A Listed house in Glasgow's west end for 600k and demolished the whole thing. I think they've been ordered to rebuild as it was. www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/14287862.Investigation_launched_after_historic_A_listed_home_in_Glasgow_s_west_end_is_demolished_without_warning/

I hadn't heard of this and I'm fairly local so I looked it up. It seems that they were given the green light to rebuild an eco-friendly modern house on the site. The husband died a few months ago so I guess he didn't get to benefit from his shenanigans.

mothertruck3r · 27/07/2017 21:50

Can you build a brick wall on the border of your property (on your side of the garden so that their doors will look straight out onto bricks and they won't be able to get out, e.g. (random image from google)?

I cant believe all these CFN threads this week!
My house looks like a hovel, I have a week off work to do stuff, and nothing been done! Been reading MN all week!

dotdotdotmustdash · 27/07/2017 21:52

...knocks hole into thread and installs upvc door so I can wander in and out as I please...

STRONGandSTABLE · 27/07/2017 21:52

Just RTFT. There's 40 minutes of my life I'm never going to get back but boy was it worth it! You poor thing, OP. How absolutely ghastly to come home to that. So glad you are at home tomorrow as hopefully it will mean hourly updates (please).

iamdivergent · 27/07/2017 21:53

I'm just placemarking this is shocking

frenchfancy17 · 27/07/2017 21:53

I've tried to keep up but are they new neighbours? (And shamelessly marking my place. )

dahliaaa · 27/07/2017 21:53

Sorry about the CFNs OP Flowers

I'm really sorry but PLEASE can someone who understands explain the layout again. I just can't get in my head how their illegal! door leads straight into OPs garden. Is the wall where the window was originally and where the door is now at an angle to the rest of the building ??

So they've gone away whilst builders do their work!

Oh well - on the plus side for them they can go away again when they have to restore it to its original feature!

Are the gardens bigger than I imagine?

I was thinking small concrete courtyard not big enough for swing paddling pool and BBQ!

Yamayo · 27/07/2017 21:54

I remember gate lady... didn't they want to put an electric gate and they wanted her to pay for it or something?

There was also a CFN who also lived in a listed building. She wanted to extend her kitchen into a covered communal passageway because acc to her neighbour never used it anyway. She then got annoyed that
a. her neighbour complained (even through she had written said neighbour a lovely letter which should have settled the matter)
b. everyone told her she could just annex part of someone else's property.

That thread was hilarious.

Yamayo · 27/07/2017 21:55

Couldn't not could

cardibach · 27/07/2017 21:56

Diagram in previous thread dahliaaa
The flats are basically built around a central square, but there are 6 flats and 4 gardens.

MiddleClassProblem · 27/07/2017 21:57

Place marking until I catch up!
