So basically they paid less for their flat with no garden and fancied the look of yours so employed some cowboys from 100 miles away (six of them) to gain access to the forbidden garden!

They have fucked up BIG style - knocking a HUGE chuck out of a listed building! Em, I don't reckon they'll bother coming home tonight! (I know I wouldn't)

I'd tie the door handles together though - just incase...

Laska5772 · 27/07/2017 18:36

Grin GrinGrin Santas its an option..

BeyondThePage · 27/07/2017 18:37

nude sunbathing - right in front of their new doors - in your "private" garden.

MissFitton · 27/07/2017 18:37

It's really sad that they will have ruined not only their property but the rest of the block too. Old brick just cant be replaced with new brick. it wont look the same at all. They're not only cheeky fuckers but destructive fuckers too.

ZenNudist · 27/07/2017 18:37

If i were your other ndn id be gutted at them ruining the look of the building too.

At least you'll have allies op.

Some people are thick as mince.

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 27/07/2017 18:38

Top diagram, OP!

rabbitcakes · 27/07/2017 18:38

I'd dig a pond outside their 'window'

That'll stop them getting out.

QueenLaBeefah · 27/07/2017 18:40

They do sound like cheeky fuckers.

I used to own a flat with a similarly bizarre garden set up and it was all very carefully explained by my solicitor when I bought it.

Your neighbours must know that it isn't their garden - they just don't care.

Nibletmum · 27/07/2017 18:40

Can't believe how some people behave! To be doing building work presumably they own it in which case they must realise it was a listed building! They sound like a right pair of spanners. (No offense to spanners in general intended)

mickeysminnie · 27/07/2017 18:40

Newdaddie are you on glue?? Why would you think that you have any entitlement to access and use SOMEONE ELSE'S property???

loaferloveforyou · 27/07/2017 18:41

Ah that makes sense now - I thought the square was the flats.

Does part of your flat look over another garden? Have you thought of putting a door there? Grin

I also really like the gnomes idea. have them facing in.. Grin

GutterStar · 27/07/2017 18:43

A+ diagram, OP.

Are they home yet?

Flowersinyourhair · 27/07/2017 18:43

I find it difficult to believe that they didn't know it was your garden not theirs. When you buy a property that sort of fact is very clearly explained. They sound absolutely horrific and I hope you're ok tonight OP

DontTouchTheMoustache · 27/07/2017 18:44

How awful, there are some absolute bellends in the world. Until it is put back it would also put off any future buyers of your flat. Wankers.

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 27/07/2017 18:44

We really do need a Cheeky Fuckers topic

Bluntness100 · 27/07/2017 18:45

They will have to use reclaimed bricks. It will be made to look like it was.The op doesn't need to worry. It's really just a matter of time now.

TimeFliesWhenYoureHavingGin · 27/07/2017 18:45

Please do 'glass face' at your neighbours when they come home

MadamePomfrey · 27/07/2017 18:45

I'd be speaking to your other neighbours particularly those that own the gardens as one I'm sure they aren't happy about a beautiful window being replaced with pvc!! And 2 strength in neighbours and all that

*If I was the CFN and the building wasn't listed than I would probably have done something similar because it's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission and access to the courtyard could significantly increase the value of my home so might be worth the cheeky risk.

In this scenario I would get together with all my other neighbours and find evidence of the original building and of any doors leading into courtyard and use that in a planning application to have all the flats fitted with doors leading to the garden in a suitable style.*

Newdaddie, I can't work out if you're joking, stirring the shit, or completely deranged serious.
