To not want DH to go to to Thorpe Park because tbh im jealous?

I am almost 6 months pregnant (due Nov. 10)

DH and I have been invited to Thorpe Park next week. I have said there is no point in me going as I wont be able to do much apart from eat and sit on the fake beach. But DH still wants to go. I really want to be ok with him going but at the same time I am VERY VERY jealous. I love theme parks and thrill rides. I live for them. I cant wait to be able to go on them again and one day we can take Daniel too. I know pregnancy doesnt last forever and I would rather have our baby than a one day fun experience. But it still hurts to see other people having fun when you are not

Should I ask him nicely not to go or should I just bite my tounge and say fuck it? Its either I upset DH or I upset myself? Aibu?

OP maybe tone down the swearing a bit. It won't be nice for Daniel hearing Mummy say shit and fuck all the time.

IHateUncleJamie · 24/07/2017 17:53

Haha, well spotted Mummy ☺️

Enjoy your gaming/research day. 👍

Pretenditsaplan

No. Not at all. This actually came up on another thread I wrote. I dont watch that much youtube, have quite a few if Dans vids though. He is a cool guy, he seems really sweet. I had no idea his last name was Middleton as well until someone mentioned it on the other thread. We just liked the name Daniel and it also happens to, with our surname, be the same name as a youtuber we sort of like.

You cant hear someone typing...

Mummy

The worries you have voiced about how you have fared so far as Daniel's mother are very very valid. On that count, you show real insight.

Bluntness100 · 24/07/2017 17:56

Why? You were probably shit as well your first time

It's not like making pancakes. Grin

HarrietKettleWasHere · 24/07/2017 17:57

obviously I mean when you are speaking, OP. Most people do kind of use the same vocabulary when they type as when they are actually talking, you know?

Moanyoldcow · 24/07/2017 17:57

OP - are you ok? You don't seem quite 'grounded' for want of a better word...

MummyMiddleton · 24/07/2017 17:58

Harriet

Not really. It feels a lot worse swearing in real life. I do it sometimes, but im no potty mouth.

Dont the midwives give you all this info in the leaflets?

Op loads of women work fulltime during pregnancy. I worked 80 hours a week.

Anyway, dont stress. Just make sometime to read up....maybe while dh is at Thorpe park Grin

MummyMiddleton · 24/07/2017 18:01

Spartacus

Thats what im going to do. She did give me leaflets but they are in the folder she gave me which I have skimmed through but havent had a chance to sit down and read through it properly yet. Might do that while DH is at Thorpe Park too

I had a rat named Daniel. I knew he couldn't eat onion. Because I researched it before he arrived

MummyMiddleton · 24/07/2017 18:14

Are you calling my baby a rat? I swear to god Angry

DonaldStott · 24/07/2017 18:15

In the nicest way possible, you need to grow the eff up.

Jealous of your husband going on a rollercoaster?

Spending the day playing minecraft?

I really hope this is a pisstake.

It's not like making pancakes.

Can't make pancakes to save my life, but managed to keep DD alive fir 5 and a half years. Grin

HarrietKettleWasHere · 24/07/2017 18:18

Oh my god OP can you actually read. The rat happened to be called Daniel and the poster was making the point that she researched what the rat called Daniel might not be able to eat before she got the rat. Because she's responsible.

You do know it's not a particularly unusual name, others will have used it before.
