Yes, more jobs. That sounds great as a headline.

But when analysed, it gets more complicated. How many full / part time jobs? Zero hours? How many people are under employed? Not working to their full potential? And what about pay? It's not rising.

That's the UK news. Headline employment is up. But beneath the statistics, it's more complicated.

And people who are in these crap jobs will get that. They won't see their lives improving. And that's what Trump said would happen.

I would be inserting 'top line' into your comment about statistics. 45 is only quoting those. (Not the less favourable ones. )

I'm just watching Ms Maddow's piece on 45's lawyers. I'm not sure I can link to it successfully but it's well worth watching if you're in the mood to have a look-see.
