To think it's inevitable that JC will be PM and TM should just let it happen ASAP

They are now pretty much at the same popularity and in the years to come there will be millions more Labour voters and millions of Tory voters that will pass away. It's pretty much a done deal right? So why doesn't TM just go now?

Ah yes, we don't like Corbyn so we must be Tories .

strikealight · 08/07/2017 16:46

And directing people to what JM is saying now ... well that's just propaganda. Fake News maybe. Utter bollocks.

Aeroflotgirl · 08/07/2017 16:46

Exactly, I am not a Tory, I voted Green, but could not bring myself to Vote Labour because of Corbyn, I just don't like him, and feel that he will not be a good PM.

ReleaseTheBats · 08/07/2017 16:48

Finally If any of the claims on this thread are untrue, please furnish evidence or an alternative view.

Just slurring claims as "right wing propaganda" from the Telegraph ban it and everything to the right of the Guardian, I say is not a convincing rebuttal of the claims.

ReleaseTheBats · 08/07/2017 16:50

Where can we get and quote news from Finally? A list of politically acceptable news sources would be useful.

Thisarmingman · 08/07/2017 16:57

The DUP are terrorists, Release. Specifically, Ulster Resistance terrorists. And they also have links, via funds, to a Saudi terrorist organisation.

They are a little bit more worrisome than being simply "wankers".

Thisarmingman · 08/07/2017 17:01

And given that they are actually in power, and that NI is falling into disarray and potential conflict as a result, I would say that was more of a pressing concern than whether or not a vegan on a pushbike from Islington is on the brink of setting up a revolutionary army and slaughtering six million dissidents.

strikealight · 08/07/2017 17:05

I know that they are more than wankers. I was trying to be non- combative. They are fucking evil bastards. As are Sinn Fein

Alltheprettyseahorses · 08/07/2017 17:06

Only the Canary is an accepted source of news. And Sqwawkbox, which recently had a scoop that conclusively proved Corbyn was the driving force behind the NI peace process and had many talks with Unionists as well as the IRA. Their proof? Unionist representatives were invited to the 1992 Labour conference (? I think it was that one but not giving them more clicks to double check). So basically Corbyn might possibly have been in the same building at the same time as them, along with thousands of other people.

ReleaseTheBats · 08/07/2017 17:06

So are you claiming that the 10 DUP MPs are terrorists and can you explain your reasoning please? Do you believe the DUP are not committed to parliamentary democracy and if so, do you have any evidence for this?

Alltheprettyseahorses · 08/07/2017 17:08

Thisarmingman Sinn Fein are also in power. And they have rather closer links to terrorists than the DUP.

The problem with Corbyn supporters is that the DUP won't join with Labour under Corbyn. If they did, they'd be heroes. It's pathetic.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 08/07/2017 17:11

Whatever you all are Corbyn has got you all shaken up. Quite impressive for a useless man with no hope of being leader.

AndromedaPerseus · 08/07/2017 17:12

I'm absolutely for different views/opinions etc and the right to voice these in public. The difference between Momentum and the moderate labour supporters is the former aggressively shouts down anyone with an alternative viewpoint in order to close down the debate. Look at Momentum demanding moderate labour MPs kowtow to JC after the election. In a democracy this is truly a frightening development; if momentum aka JC/JM ever got into power theirs will be the only voices allowed and they will defend this whatever it takes.

This if you are familiar with the history of the cultural revolution you will know how quickly calling for mob rule descended into violence and the deaths of millions of ordinary people China's Cultural revolution

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 08/07/2017 17:13

Yes Labour supporters are going to kill millions of people.

Or err..hyperbolic laughable nonsense

Thisarmingman · 08/07/2017 17:14

The DUP is endorsed by and has dealings with the UDA. The former leader of the DUP and several other members were instrumental in setting up Ulster Resistance ie they have the same personnel.

ReleaseTheBats · 08/07/2017 17:15

Whatever you all are Corbyn has got you all shaken up

So you keep saying Finally but you never respond to the content of people's posts or to people's genuine concerns about JC, McDonnell and all.

Thisarmingman · 08/07/2017 17:18

Allthepretty Sinn Fein don't hold the balance of power in mainland British government.

glitterlips1 · 08/07/2017 17:19

I hope not!

ReleaseTheBats · 08/07/2017 17:20

This I don't claim to have a massive amount of knowledge about NI and the peace process.

However, I fail to see that being supported by a paramilitary organisation makes someone a terrorist.

Can you explain whether you believe anyone who has had past links with, or indeed been a member of, a paramilitary organisation can be a credible legitimate member of the NI Assembly? If not, would that not have made the GFA a bit tricky to arrange?

Alltheprettyseahorses · 08/07/2017 17:20

Thisarmingman - they would if they joined with Labour.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 08/07/2017 17:22

Because people are banging out the same old smears from before the election and i honestly just think the hyperbole is hilarious and a positive sign he is making an impact.

ReleaseTheBats · 08/07/2017 17:24

Labour tried to do deals with the DUP in 2010 and 2015.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 08/07/2017 17:26

They wrote one email or something.

strikealight · 08/07/2017 17:27

I'm not shaken up by JC. I am old enough to have seen this all before and am warning naive fools about how toxic this is for Labour. In the unlikely event you are old enough to remember the winter of discontent and what came before, Finally, you should know this sort of bollocks is poison for Labour. If you are old enough to remember the winter of discontent and what came before, then shame on you. People turned to Thatcher because Labour were so hopeless.
