They are now pretty much at the same popularity and in the years to come there will be millions more Labour voters and millions of Tory voters that will pass away. It's pretty much a done deal right? So why doesn't TM just go now?

Puppet

And I will keep posting this. John Macdonald is pulling the strings.

Read about the very start of Puppet being put forward.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 08/07/2017 10:50

Err who is John MacDonald. Never heard of himWink

ReleaseTheBats · 08/07/2017 11:01

Squeegle In all honestly do you not think that the EU is part of the mess we need to get out of? Migrant crisis - Italy, Paris, troops on the Austrian/Italy border, EU taking eastern states to court re immigration policy, EU army (leave campaign lie Hmm) back on the table, Juncker acting very oddly.

And as I understand it the reduction in numbers of nurses from the EU is due to the English language tests which have been introduced.

Pombearsandnaiceham · 08/07/2017 11:04

Another one who's never heard of John Macdonald Wink

user1498939511 · 08/07/2017 11:19

I was very much left wing as an in debt student believing the theory everyone will have a better life with Labour, save the world etc. The reality of labour kicked in when I became more informed. Now I'm conservative and more comfortable with that. It is a path people have been on throughout history, it could change if Labour were more statistically than emotionally based with their arguments.

strikealight · 08/07/2017 12:12

John McDonnell is proper scary. You don't want someone like him anywhere near government.

strikealight · 08/07/2017 12:13

J Mc is shadow chancellor for those who don't know.

C0rdelia · 08/07/2017 12:16

Sorry, my iPad is having trouble with Mc Donn ell. Keeps reverting to McDonald.

And 'Puppet ' as I'm online.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 08/07/2017 12:19

Sorry, my iPad is having trouble with Mc Donnell. Keeps reverting to McDonald

As if anyone could not work out it was just a typo. ( unless of course they are too dim to know who John McDonnell is)

C0rdelia · 08/07/2017 12:26

I do ask people to google him. He wasn't let out much during the election campaign but he would be the power if Labour were voted in.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 08/07/2017 12:27

Yanbu :-)

SJaNH · 08/07/2017 12:32

Brexitstolemyfuture?? Be interested to know what future you feel was stolen from you.....

BabsGanoush · 08/07/2017 12:33

FFS it's Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell - get their names right!

makeourfuture · 08/07/2017 12:33

Under the Tory Regime (now DUP/Tory) we are witnessing an ideological purge. We don't have to guess or wonder....it is happening. It is sickening and people are dying from it.

makeourfuture · 08/07/2017 12:33

And it is wrecking our nation.

YTho · 08/07/2017 12:51

How to get through to the government and get them to change their policies to something that would actually take this country out of the current mess we're in. Strong opposition is needed and labour are providing that at the moment. But is there any hope that theresa may won't further mess up everything including brexit and NHS and everything else in between? maybe with someone else from tories as pm this country would gain a bit more stability. I doubt but might be the only chance we have now, unless of course there's yet another ge and another party wins.

C0rdelia · 08/07/2017 12:53

BabsGanoush. I do want to spell their names right but my iPad won't tolerate it.

JMD was hidden during the campaign. Not allowed out as he would frighten the voters.

Puppet

BabsGanoush · 08/07/2017 12:59

JMD was hidden during the campaign. and that muppet Diane Abbott was swiftly removed (and returned once the GE was over) too.

YTho · 08/07/2017 12:59

Perhaps this is the only strategy tories now have as they've lost all credibility. Try to discredit others so nobody pays attention to the continuous bumbling of the current government.

YTho · 08/07/2017 13:00

Seems to be working on some.

birdsdestiny · 08/07/2017 13:09

We are not Tories. Anything but.

makeourfuture · 08/07/2017 13:27

It's terrible. And damage is being done.

So yes. It is inevitable...and it would be the honourable thing to do to resign this awful DUP/Tory Regime....

Squeegle · 08/07/2017 13:48

I don't disagree that immigration in this country has not been managed at all well by any party. The right to work anywhere within the EU did not help. however- while I feel that we don't necessarily need to be in the EU forever, what I do feel is that we need a plan for the alternative. We didn't have it when we voted and we don't have it now. The Tories have managed this disgracefully and it is for this reason that I am feeling sold out and have absolutely no confidence we will now have any good outcome

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 08/07/2017 13:52

We are not Tories. Anything but

Rock and a hard place isn't it. The glimmer of hope is the truly amazing achievements of Stella Creasy in the NI abortion issue- which must have involved Creasy behaving like a proper grown up and speaking to unlikely allies like Andrea Leadsom and Sir Peter Bottomley.
