AIBU?

To spoil Katie Hopkins holiday by giving her a piece of my mind

I'm on a family holiday in a Mediterranean resort and guess who else is staying here?

I'm sorely tempted to go up and tell her what a horrible, hate filled, divisive person she is and that most educated and intelligent people in the country despise what she stands for.

No becasue she will love it , that you have gone out your way to speak to her.

Crispmonster1 · 02/07/2017 19:35

Do it! She does it to enough people.

Report

Supermagicsmile · 02/07/2017 19:36

Do it! She wouldn't hesitate to do the same to someone!

You'll be giving her her next piece. Why make her life easier? Just slyly spit in her drink.

IllBeAtTheSpa · 02/07/2017 19:37

She would love the attention for it and you'd probably become the subject/ fodder for her next 'piece'

If there is anything that would rile her it's to be completely ignored. Starve the fire of oxygen it will die

Tbh I doubt she'd care. It would just give her fuel for an article about Brit's abroad. How about sneaking into her room and hiding prawns somewhere. Wink a

Don't waste your breath on that moron, she knows what she says is utter drivel but just loves the attention. Ignore the cow and don't let her ruin your hols! May she get sunburnt and bitten all over by mozziesSmile

Honestly OP I doubt she cares what you think.

You'll only end up as part of a Twitter rant. I would be sorely tempted, but wouldn't want to risk putting a dampener on my own holiday.

Rriot · 02/07/2017 19:38

Nah, she'd enjoy the attention and the fact she'd veen recognised. Treat her for what she is; nothing special.

No, she thrives on that stuff.

Would bother who more if you pretend not to know who she is.

Ask her if she is doing another one of those documentaries where she puts on a lot weight?

God no, she thrives off attention and I'm assuming she's also with her family, her kids have done nothing to deserve having their holiday ruined..

Just glare at her every time you see her, unsettling but nothing she can actually write and article about.

Ignore her is probably the best way, any engagement I'm sure she'd enjoy.

Buckinghambae · 02/07/2017 19:40

mintbee that was exactly my first thought

Hand her a sausage and remind her she's reneged on her promise... suggest it needs inserting sideways.

Report

AnyFucker · 02/07/2017 19:43

Nah

The best thing you could do is pretend you don't know who she is

Report

QuackPorridgeBacon · 02/07/2017 19:43

A bit petty on your part really. Just leave out and enjoy your holiday.

Report

Stopnamechanging · 02/07/2017 19:44

No, how embarrassing that would be, her children are with her too? Leave them alone.

Report

StupidSlimyGit · 02/07/2017 19:45

Definitely don't speak to her, but is there any way you could switch her mosquito repellant/sunscreen for something that would attract bugs? Grin

Report

Rollonbedtime7pm · 02/07/2017 19:45

Definitely act like you have no idea who she is - she would hate to think someone hasn't recognised her!

Then sit near her, pretend to read news on your phone and talk to your DH loudly about how shit the Daily Mail is and how it only employs half wits as "journalists" Grin

She knows what she is and makes a lot of money out of it.
Don't contribute to her profile by acknowledging her presence.

Please.

Ignore her
It will hurt her more
Just pretend you don't know who she is
